Thought I needed a new exhaust, Danny was able to weld it for a fraction of the cost. Very honest and straight, which I appreciated massively. I'll be booking the wife's car in for an MOT with them off the back my experience. Would definitely recommend 👌🏼

I recently had an excellent experience at Newgate Garage when I took my car in for new discs and brake pads. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They took the time to explain the work that needed to be done and provided a clear estimate. The turnaround time was impressive, and my car was ready sooner than expected. Once I drove my car after the repairs, I could immediately feel the difference. Absolutely 5 star service. I highly recommend this garage. Took my car for a MOT it failed which ment I couldn't drive it so would of been without a car. 5 stars for Newgate. Since moving to Mirfield looked for a local garage to service and MOT my wife’s car, Newgate did a 1st class job - charging for what was needed. This week my Son had a Xmas tree lights on experience and Newgate got the car in the next day, diagnosed the fault and the services and MOTd at the same time. Service was excellent and the price fair for the work done. I’ll definitely go back in the future.

Took my son’s Mercedes here after being told by another garage there was a problem with one of the rear wheels. They thoroughly checked it over 2 days and could not find a fault. I asked them how much the bill was and they said nothing as no work was done. Not many garages would do that so massive thanks and definitely use again.

Great local garage with a friendly owner, Gordon Walker, who always provides a great service at honest prices. I have used the garage for 10+ years and have never had reason for complaint. No problem using your own provided parts, though make sure they are the correct ones, but even if not you don't get ripped off. Highly recommended.

These guys are absolutely fantastic. My partner broke down and managed to park on their car park. He's a mechanic and had all his tools with him but needed a new part. They ordered the part and had it delivered in the hour, gave him directions to go and get something to eat allowed him to change it on their car park and once he had finished brought him inside and told him where all their cleaning stuff was for him to get clean. Absolutely amazing so helpful. The work they were doing looked incredible. Even though we aren't from the area we will definitely be bringing them our business. Thank you for all your help today.

These guys are amazing, honest and very friendly. I've had some trouble with my cars in the past, Elliott and Gail were so patient and helpful, Elliott even wrote a report on my car when it was going through the ombudsman and they kept my car in their secure compound for over a month while I was having difficulty with the financial side. They have definitely got a life long customer with me from now on. Gail is so friendly over the phone and in person, a very warm and welcoming face at the reception. They'll go above and beyond to be as helpful and honest as they can be, thankyou guys 😊
