You can tell from the start that Acky loves cars, as he admits a self proclaimed "madchanic". Cars to him aren't just a mode of transport, they are peoples prized possessions and each one has its own uniqueness. We went to Acky with a massive issue, our car wouldn't gain speed, it was stuck in limp mode. We were scared. Autistic children at home who need therapy, single car family. We took a gamble, and my god did we win with Halifax MOT centre and Acky. He calmed our fears, and even showed us how the system worked to get an idea of possible issues. Not only did Acky repair our car in less than 24 hours, but we learned a valuable lesson. He showed us how we can have a better understanding of our car, to help prevent future issues. He's an absolute legend, and the world needs more Ackys.

Thank you to Akram and Halifax MOT Centre for the amazing service I received over the weekend. I noticed issues with my brake pads and rang Halifax MOT Centre at 11AM on Sunday and had new brake pads fitted by 1PM the same day. On top of this Akram went above and beyond by fixing an issue he noticed with my headlights as well as sorting my handbrake problem and refilling my cars coolant. I also had my timing belt changed a few months back and the quality of work and care received was next to none. Thank you once again, I recommend Halifax MOT Centre for anyone who wants a friendly, speedy and thorough service from an experienced and honest mechanic.

Halifax MOT centre is the best garage I have ever used. Very accommodating, mechanic Akram knows his stuff and doesn't rip you off - very reasonable. Can't recommend them enough.
