I have SO many people who take their cars to Terry’s and I always felt it might be too far to travel and wondered what all the fuss was about. I also thought it would be UBER expensive. But, I finally bit the bullet and decided I’d get the car MOT’d and serviced by this garage with it’s 5-ish stars on Google. Words cannot express just how it feels to finally find someone who knows their trade. After almost 10 years, 4 car mechanics, £20 per month spent on oil and just as much money spent on having my engine constantly cleaned plus the replacement of parts under the car bonnet later, it took Terry just TWO DAYS to locate the bane of my troubles, repair the problem, charge reasonably and return a pristine vehicle in great working order. In fact, every day since then I keep finding tiny once-neglected things, that previous mechanics couldn’t be bothered to repair, all sorted by Terry, Joe and the team. I’m not an overly emotional person but tears keep coming to my eyes whenever I find something Terry and team repaired that used to “grate” me but what I’d resigned myself to accepting could never be fixed. He never mentioned he’d fixed them, he never charged for them. It’s like Xmas opening up new presents and, for literally the first time ever since I bought the car, it drives like a dream. Above all else, the things that I find the most amazing about this garage, apart from it being one of the cleanest I’ve seen in years, are the good old-fashioned customer service values and consummate professionalism. As a woman, it’s easy to get conned by some of these car mechanics but Terry and his crew make you feel like part of the family and what they won’t tolerate for their wives, daughters, sisters, nans and aunties, they won’t lower their standards and enforce on any female that brings her car to them. Platinum standard. If I could give 10 stars, I would. No question.

Took my car in for a service and it came back running like new. Everyone was very pleasant and kind. Terry is extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions and gave me good advice! I would highly recommend for their honesty and good work

I have been a customer for more than 8 years and I have never been disappointed with the service I have received. I always come here for my MOT and Service and after having those done annually I do not need anything else. The service is of a very high standard so my car will run smoothly throughout the year. Terry's garage is the only garage now that I will allow to carry out works & MOT to my car. Friendly staff they are like a family atmosphere and Honest with the prices and excellent works and very knowledgeable mechanics. After another garage carried out shabby works Terry corrected everything and at £300 less then the original price. The car drives better then when I first bought it. Terry kept the parts to show and explained everything in details even showing pictures of what was found. Terry carried out his own tests before giving me a price and didn't charge for it even changing a bulb thats how honest he is. The works carried out where kinda major like Complete Clutch System, Coolant Housing and Thermostat Lamba Sensor plus resetting the EML Lampd and repair to gear box threads that the other garage mess up. I have already booked my car in for other works and the price hasn't been discussed as to I trust this Humble guy and his team. Terry is that honest that he will explain if its in his field or not and if not then he knows someone that can carry out what's needed and I'd rather take anyone Terry recommends too. I came by Terry's by an old work colleague telling about BMW messing up his car and that Terry carried out the works and how no now can even touch his car. Now that a statement or what. 1000%.
