Nice to find a local more traditional garage in terms of service and proper mechanics who have an interest in what they do. Always re assuring when handing over your pride and joy. For someone who loves cars and has some mechanical knowledge to, I very much appreciated photo updates/pictures of the work and sensible conversations between customer and mechanic on solutions! Would recommend both Tim & Tim to anyone.

Brilliant service. I rang about getting a new battery for my daughter’s car on Monday. They called back with a price within 10 minutes. It was fitted 36 hours later, the earliest convenient time for us.

Having been unwell with the flu I explained that my hearing has been affected and I couldn't hear very well at all!!!!! the service receptionist was very understanding, helpful and patient ensuring I understood what was happening with my car, keeping me updated on progress. I was very well.looked after as always, when myself or my daughters go to Shaftesbury DCM. We always know that we can trust the team with our cars. I typically use a main dealer for servicing for my car, however they had recently let me down at last minute and managed to get an appointment with DCM in Shaftesbury. I entered their reception area (bright and airy) and was met by their front desk staff in a very friendly manner. I was offered a hot drink whilst I waited. When the service was complete, the engineer didn't just disappear, they actually stayed to chat about what they had completed, before handing over the the front desk staff. I will have no hesitation in using DCM in the future!

I have always received excellent service from Cooks Garage, but recently they excelled themselves. My vehicle was with them for it's annual MOT test and service, when a third party's van swiped it and then drove off. The damage was pointed out to me when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, and within two weeks they had arranged for the damage to be repaired at no cost to me, including driving it to and from the body shop for the respray. The not insubstantial cost was entirely borne by Cooks Garage even though they were unable to recoup anything from the third party. I cannot praise them highly enough, and it is so refreshing to find a business which shows such honesty and integrity. Thank you!

Neil is Awesome, Honest, Kind and most of all an incredible mechanic; I have been going to Neil for over 20 years now despite being a qualified mechanic myself (changed to another career now). If you want your car maintained to last, he's the guy to see! If you want faults diagnosed without delay he's, the guy with the experience to find and fix faults quickly. I have always recommended Neil to friends and family and everyone has always been happy with him. :-)

Fantastic service arranged by a very kind, considerate, patient and courteous service adviser. The car was picked up and serviced, I was kept updated on future concerns and items needed now. The car was washed, windscreen washer topped up and brought back when finished, an excellent service experience.

I moved to Shaftesbury nearly five years ago and asked someone to recommend a good, small, local independent garage and was then told about Hilltop Motors. I have used them to look after my car and my sons' car ever since and wouldn't consider going elsewhere. First class work at very fair prices is carried out every time to my complete satisfaction. Most significantly this is something that is all too rare, namely a garage to be trusted. I'm so glad I was told about it and now recommend it at every opportunity.
