Just had to share how amazing Polinos in Halifax is! We've been there a few times now, and it's totally become our go-to spot when we want to make something special. The food is just incredible—like, the pizza and pasta are next-level delicious.
But let's talk cocktails for a sec. They're fantastic and honestly worth the trip alone. You've got to try the Mai Tai cocktail—it's absolutely stellar!
The service is fantastic and personal, making you feel genuinely valued every time you visit. The staff really go above and beyond to make your dining experience special.
If you're a steak lover, you're in for a treat. The steaks are cooked perfectly every single time. We even tried the large tomahawk sharing steak, and it was phenomenal—melt-in-your-mouth goodness! And for the size of that thing, it's actually reasonably priced.
Oh, and the views! You get this beautiful landscape of the Calder Valley while you dine. It's seriously the perfect backdrop.
Honestly, Polinos is well worth a visit. It blows any other Italian spot in town out of the water. Highly recommend!
Amazing! The best carbonara ever had, and an the steak!! The service and experience was 100/10! Alfonso gave such great service to us and all around , attentive and all staff were super helpful! This place deserves a Michelin star!
Visited on a Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere was amazing, the food was authentic and delicious. The service was top-notch, the coffee was hot and delicious. Will definitely be going back, even if I have to pay for myself.
Early Saturday evening and the place was already buzzing when we arrived at 5.15pm. We were quickly supplied with menus and drinks ordered.
We chose from the regular and specials menu and the food was so delicious.
The staff were nice and all working well to handle the constant stream of diners arriving.
Wish we lived closer, but if you live in Halifax and don't know it - you should definitely book a table and enjoy the atmosphere, the food and great service.
