This is my new favourite local restaurant, serving up stunning world tapas style dishes, we went for valentines day and it was flawless, great service, great food, great atmosphere! What’s not to love! I would highly recommend it!

It has taken almost two years - lockdown and all that - for us to find a restaurant that makes us feel like we have a small part of London in Sowerby Bridge of all places. Great service, ridiculously good taste, and superb quality… 🍱 If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Ate all the food before we could snap a photograph!! Lovely atmosphere. We sat in front of the kitchen, bit too close to the door, but was interesting to watch the kitchen staff. If I could nick-pick on anything from a business perspective, it would be seeing the cooks browse their mobile phones here and there whilst in between service - but that is being really fussy! We were not offered a wine menu and the paper napkins are a small letdown. But being super fussy as I was so impressed by the place, I want it to be even better! The table staff were excellent. We ordered 10+ dishes for 2 adults and one child. Two drinks each = £90. An absolute bargain. Wish I could have sampled all the plates… I will be coming back many times! (April 2023) Returned again with my 11 year old son for an Easter treat. We love it there. The pork belly, anchovies and chorizo are lovely. The cauliflower dish was lovely - great for vegetarians - but not for me. Heart and Soul (Vocation) on tap 🍺 too. Parking 🅿️ immediately outside if anyone needs to know.

Absolutely fantastic tapas restaurant. Such a diverse choice at reasonable prices... we will visit again, as we want to try all the dishes on the menu (sadly we do not live closer & only tried 5 dishes - which were all amazing). The decor is very cool, the staff are excellent, the chef and his team are non stop in the open kitchen. The result.... a fantastic culinary experience, the dishes were served singularly, which gave the feel of a taster menu. First class. Thanks you. We were fortunate enough to be seated at the bar, overlooking the kitchen, we saw the adept cookery, relentless hard work first hand. Plus, we were given recommendations of the premium dishes to order. Top drawer experience. A must do in the region.

Lovely little dessert shop. Got 2 sticky toffee puddings and a coffee and tea with my mother. Perfect price. Very polite man would definitely come here again 😊

My daughter and I absolutely love Roberto's Ice Cream, our go to place, all the way from sowerby bridge! Absolutely would recommend it to everyone! Best milkshakes in town 🙌

Great place for a waffle, ice cream, shake, hot dogs and more. After a long cycle ride I popped in for a waffle, with jam and cream, that combination wasn't on the menu but they were more than happy to fulfill my request, it went down a treat. Definitely recommended.

Great whippy ice cream and gelato sundaes! £4.50 for the large, as in photo, and £3 for a regular. Staff are friendly and there's a couple of picnic benches outside, and small seating area inside. Perfect to call in walking to/from the park etc.

Very happy with this place. Big breakfast £7 including hot drink. Plenty on street parking too.

Excellent Excellent food really lovely gorgeous & super tasty.Obviously my favourite item on menu has got to b da sprinkle cake very colourful & cheerful looking so delicious & yummy very very soft highly recommend that.Tried different things too over da past few weeks had cheese & onion pie,cheese and onion quiche and today jacket spud absolutely fantastic 👏 👌 😀 keep up da great work,brilliant service.And I was jus browsing there's so much nice food on display its hard 2 decide wat to get i spotted i think it was a jam square/slice can't remember da name anyway it had jam in middle wiv loads of sugar on top took a bite into and made me go wow shud hav got another 1 it was that good proper heavenly 😍

What a great cafe for food & the ladies serving are lovely too. Highly recommend the Sausage, Bacon & Spam sandwich 🥪 absolutely delicious 😋 & as there regular postman 📮📮📮📮 I can recommend this place you'll get looked after by the lovely ladies who serve you. Top notch place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ definitely 5-star service & high quality food too. They make a fabulous brew (tea or coffee ☕️) to go with your breakfast, sandwiches 🥪 or snacks. Great place. Definitely needs experiencing if you haven't been before. 😀

Go in quite often. The food is the best in Elland, always a brilliant standard. The lady running the place is lovely and certainly knows what she's doing.

I had the full English breakfast at Thyme today. To say it was delicious is an understatement. Every part of the meal was top quality, and it was cooked to perfection. I didn’t catch the owner’s name, but she is obviously much more than a line cook, she’s a chef, and very good one. I’ll be back, often! Highly recommended!

A lovely cosy cafe run by two lovely ladies who always welcome you with a smile. Always pre-order over the phone so the food is ready for our arrival. Food quality is always fantastic and piping hot and is always a treat, especially the breakfast wrap which is my guilty pleasure.

Went for a breakfast wrap also a chicken wrap too. Served with a smile very pleasing. Cafe full of customers all talking to each other lovely spot great cook there too

A lovely little find to finish off our quick visit to Halifax! Limited seating inside but the weather was nice enough to be outside. Service was second to none, so friendly without being intrusive. Breakfasts were beautiful. Cake indulgence will definitely be on the cards for the next visit! From “the love birds” xx

Lovely spot for a drink and snack along the canal. I had a mini vegetarian breakfast which was the perfect portion size to justify getting a cake for the walk home. The chai latte was delicious and the selection of Hip Pop kombuchas and sodas are great cold drink options. The menu is large, with a range of portion and dietary variations - I'll definitely be back to try more! Service was lovely and friendly, in a cosy setting on the canalside. The perfect pit stop when visiting Sowerby Bridge :)

Such a lovely place! Had an extremely delicious vegan breakfast and latte and a cake to take away! Staff are very welcoming and best of all it’s dog friendly. Will definitely be returning soon

I visited the Piece Hall on my way home from Leeds,and I wasn't disappointed it is a marvellous structure. It was a lovely place to wonder room and visit all the lovely shops and to have a meal in the sunshine. I would recommend this place if you are near by.

This magnificent building has been wonderfully restored and well worth a visit. Unfortunately, quite a lot of shops weren't open but I bought an amazing jumper in the Jitterbug Jean shop. The sourdough toasted brie and onion chutney sandwich at The Bakery was amazing. Pity I didn't have room for one of the delicious looking cakes.

A charming destination that makes your day a delightful one... I have fascination for architectures that have historical significance. Piece Hall built in 1779 is a special one. Such a privilege that this masterpiece is just my next door...🤩

This is the first Time I have come here and just came for a coffee, out side seating is ok it’s spacious and not intrusive from table to table, although the quality of seating can be better, the staff were very friendly and they are not understaffed, young lady in the photo was very friendly and ok for me to add her photo, enjoyed the coffee most importantly so will most definitely be trying this place again for probably some food as well next time. Most definitely recommend this in the afternoon if you want to sit out side as the sun will be from the side without the building in front blocking it in the morning.

Superb. Great good, very friendly and helpful staff and nice ambience. We went back again. It was my birthday and wanted to get a decent breakfast so went here, it was the right choice. I had the Eggs Benny which is also known as Eggs Benedict. There are 3 options - Serrano Ham, Mushrooms & Spinach or Smoked Salmon. I love smoked salmon so easy choice. You can also choose sourdough toast or English muffin and I went for the sourdough. It was superb. The smoked salmon was high quality with a really strong deep smoking giving it loads of flavour. The poached Eggs were spot on, the house hollandaise was very good and the toast was great too. I had a coffee with it and that was decent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We went back two days later on the last day of our trip to Halifax. If we return to Halifax we will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended. Thanks!

Was our first time visiting Hatch yesterday, what a lovely place! The atmosphere was great and the staff were so friendly! The food and drinks were also amazing, a solid 10/10 😊

Visited for the first time, decor is unique and stylish and our lunch was both tasty and visually beautiful! Staff were friendly and happy. They didn't know if the mince pies were vegetarian and (though we picked something else) they dialed the boss anyway, so they would know when next asked - perfect service - thank you ladies! I will recommend this place and will be back.

Came in today for the first time since finding out coffee king has rats as that was my regular coffee spot. Joe Tamzin and GG have great customer service and shout out to Joe for making great frappes

Late breakfast food good busy but service good, food hot. Place full of workers but it's what the place is famous for Good value. Haven't been here in ages live too far away but nothing has changed 😏😏😏

The food is good quality and great value. The staff are really friendly and always happy to see you. You can get a homemade hot meal for a fiver!! Where else can you get that.

Spotlessly clean and outstanding professional customer service the sandwiches are beautiful and the choice of dinners are varied from a roast dinner to a curry would recommend to anyone
