Lovely place, good quality food. Be prepared for small portions and high prices. Delicious meat. We all agreed my vegetarian pie was on the overly small side for a main course... (it was the size of a mince pie!). Some creative pudding ideas with the rice pudding creme brulee. Overall good but not outstanding.

This is a great pub with excellent quality food. Service was equally good and friendly. We each had a different dish and all were excellent. Highly recommend.

Venue - Beautifully decorated and had a cosy vibe. Interesting choice of music (club/house music!), didn't really match the atmosphere! Food - The crab ravioli was amazing with a rich bisque and the crab meat was generous. Main course meat was cooked perfectly, and the side options were great. Only con would be the Lamb cutlets didn't come with any sauce, so it was literally just meat on the plate. Desserts were twists on classic dishes which worked well, only comment was that the sticky toffee pudding was hard in the middle. Service - The staff were friendly and accommodating, plenty of waiters to help. Unfortunately there was at least a 30 minute wait between starter and main, and our waitress hadn't actually tried many (if any) of the dishes so struggled to form an opinion. Overall - Has potential, just needs some tweaks! Will definitely be back to see how it develops

Favourite local pub - favourite pub! Cannot fault this place. The food is like a Michelin restaurant. Superb menu - not too long or fussy just perfect!

We all know pubs need to evolve or risk extinction. Thus William IV is more of a restaurant than a pub but it’s a great place to visit for some lunch and a couple of beers. The whole different-menus-for-different-seating areas isn’t ideal but I understand the logic - we sat outside and ordered pizzas which absolutely hit the bullseye, evoking authentic Italian flavours (proper ingredients do the talking). The waiting staff were faultless as well. We’ll be back for the A La Carte restaurant experience.
