My delicious steak and ale pie was served with lots of veg and washed down with Timothy Taylor.
Daughter in Law arranged a surprise 40th for her wife (our Daughter) today! 24 of us. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Very well organised and everything went to plan. The food delivered together, hot & delicious. All the staff were amazing & attentive. Main bar lady exceptional! Very personable, friendly & professional. Blooming wonderful with the children too. Such a wonderful relaxing time. Will definitely return even though we not local!! Do have to say we are very fussy too xx
We had a lovely lunch at The Fox on a quiet Friday. Easy to recommend based on the delicious food in generous portions and excellent service. And a lovely location to boot!
If you like a traditional English pub with great food, lovely attentive service with a smile, this is the place for you. Only knocked the food back a bit because the pie could have more chunks of meat. Soufflé as a starter are amazing, must have even as a bite each shared dish.
3 pints (Proper Job and Timmy Taylor both excellent) 3 courses plus 12 % tip £105
The quality and presentation of the food is outstanding. Service is friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended and I guarantee eat here and you will return
