I only had a coffee for a quick stop during my visit, I was lucky to get a seat, it was very nice interior and quick and friendly service.
I bought some coffees from here and the ladies behind the counter are lovely. They are so efficient and even though the room is so busy, they are still attentive to each customer. The food also looked delicious - great selection of cakes. Thank you. :) It is a great spot to explore and sit down or takeaway a coffee. There are loos too, which are very well kept.
5 stars all round! My wife and I had an afternoon tea and it was superb! I phoned 2 days prior to book, and the member of staff on the phone was extremely helpful and easy to talk to, answering all my questions regarding the booking. The afternoon tea itself was great, with plenty of savoury and sweet treats to get through. The highlight being the home made scones, with cream and jam. Everything was fresh and delicious. We couldn't finish all the cakes so took the rest home in a box to enjoy later. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. They checked on us regularly, but in a non intrusive way, making sure we were happy throughout. The setting was also very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. On top of this, you get your parking paid for you too, so we had a nice stroll around the grounds before leaving. I cannot recommend the afternoon tea enough, or even dropping in to get a hot drink or cake, as we have done so many times in the past. Thank you so much for such a great time, the perfect little treat to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
