Our visit didn't start that well as we had to wait for a table I'd already reserved. We then got put on a table for 4 despite being a group of 5. Thankfully, the table beside us left, and we were able to acquire that. The service was pretty slow throughout our visit, although the food did come out very quickly. There's a good menu with lots of options. The food was tasty and well cooked with lots of flavours. The staff were very friendly even bringing me out a birthday brownie which was very nice.

It is a beautiful breakfast. Bills breakfast is perfect and reasonable price. This is my first UK and first breakfast in London. So I asked Laura, and she recommended a memorable menu. I can't forget today if you search for a good place to eat brunch. Come here. Never regret LONDON AND BILLS

Had a meeting for 30 people catered on Friday, Fantastic selection of sandwiches and wraps, fruit, cakes and a cheese board. Happily covered our vegan, veggie and dairy free staff members. Everyone left full and happy. Nov 23 - Another fantastic spread, for the Board this time. I can really recommend the cakes as an add on!

The lady behind the counter was great!! Super helpful for these travelers! I had the chicken jalapeño wrap, and it was very good. Can't believe it was only £5 and the salad was £4.50. We will be back for the coffee, too!

It's a really nice cafe to have both breakfast and lunch. I personally like their homemade sandwiches and wraps. Also, it's affordable and authentic taste. Everyone should try this place once.

Great eatery for breakfast and lunch. Very friendly and attentive staff. Best place in the Basing View business area. Does get busy at lunch time.

Lovely friendly staff and the coffee is great especially the arabica beans for an extra 10p. Atmosphere is subdued, great for reading or catch up. Dogs are allowed or there is dedicated "dog parking" outside with a window view on table 7 perfect for dog owners. Note: £5 card limit which is standard for a small business like this.

Our local cafe whilst visiting from Australia 🤩 lovely cuppa with the most delicious homemade cakes 🍰 my favourite being this rhubarb and ginger bake 🙌 thank you for your hospitality 🙏 we will see you next time we’re visiting.

I regularly visit Jolly Olly’s. The drinks and food are great quality with cakes daily and the recent introduction of fresh sourdough bread loaves that can be purchased to take out. Jo, Janet and the team are friendly and welcoming. I also wanted to take the opportunity to comment on Ian Marshall’s recent review. Jolly Olly’s did close temporarily but the sale to the new owner fell through. Jolly Olly’s is now open again.

Lovely quiet little coffee shop. Great coffee and nice bacon rolls. Ladies that work there are very friendly and helpful. Cakes look great but not tried any yet! (Update - tried the cakes and Reallly good. Brownies are amazing and toffee & walnut a hit with the parents) Its a really buzzing little coffee shop where you are always made to feel welcomed. Very kid friendly. So come and support this small business. Brilliant Cafe, friendly staff, nice and warm on a chilly winter day. Stopped in for lunch midweek which was much quieter than mid morning had been. The menu choices looked excellent and the food and drinks were really good quality, nicely cooked and all fresh ingredients. We had a full breakfast with a few swaps and a vegan breakfast. For the quality the price was very reasonable, especially as it included a drink. Delicious :)

I came in with my husband for some lunch a few weeks ago. I am all for independent businesses and I want to continue to support this one which has been epic in the past. But this time, there were issues. I was served promptly and paid for my order. The lady wrote down my order on a piece of paper and put to the left hand side of the till. Other people had their orders taken in the same manner and received their food before me. All the while, I was stood at the front waiting for the order. A member of the team finally asked if I had been served and when I said, yes, a while ago, they rushed to find that particular piece of paper that my order was on. Once found, they couldn't be more helpful and quick with my order and were very apologetic. There needs to be a better ticketing system to make sure that people are served in order. This seemed hap hazard and unprofessional. The atmosphere was lively to say the least. Most of the noise was from behind the till. The team seemed to be having fun, which was nice to see. But there was a lot of yelling to each other. The big pan was BBQ tandoori chicken and was amazing. The portions were great. The nachos with chilli was tasty. But the nacho crisps had an awful lot of salt on them. So often you had a huge hit of salt, which stopped me finishing my meal. Lastly, you used to do a great jacket potato when you were outside. Where have they gone? I miss them.

Whilst in the area doing a bit of shopping we stumbled on the festival street kitchen. When walking by the first sight was a massive pan cooking up some sort or curry. I instantly wanted to dive right in, as a party of 6 we herded in to admire the menu. we took a few minutes and all had something different, my choice was the big pan Caribbean chicken curry and the smell in the air did not disappoint the staff were amazing and it really gives off an open air festival eating experience. I'm coming back again no question.

Popped in for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Ordered a bbq chicken burrito, which was full of flavour. I toyed with the idea of getting chips, but the burrito itself was more than sufficient. There is a small kid's area downstairs to keep your toddlers entertained whilst you scoff down your food and the downstairs toilet has a baby change. Main toilets are up a spiral staircase, which also houses additional seating. We shall be returning!

I Visited here with my family today. Staff are very helpful and very polite.Answered all my garden related questions. Cafe milkshakes are amazing and offer a wide range of sweet and savoury dishes on offer. Will be coming back again !

Excellent service and a value for money Breakfast. Cash only, no credit cards accepted. Just outside Festival Place doors. Space for pushchairs, etc. It was really nice to see a member of staff helping a less abled customer with their meal today.

I was looking for a drink but was served as though I was ordering a full meal , I ordered a latte (£2.95 ) it was served in a large cup and was just right. Fortunately I had some cash on me as I had not noticed the No cash sign ! I will pop in there again and try the food . More to come .

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent food with a good selection of savoury items on the menu and yummy cakes/traybakes. Coffee was full of flavour and hot which was great. Would thoroughly recommend.

I keep coming back for their coffee and croissant, but I know I should be here for wine. One thing I can heartily recommend is the jam. It's astonishing! I must come down one evening. Based on how good the service is, I'm sure it'll be worth it.

I dined at the Gallery for the first time and I was very pleased with the experience. The food was quite tasty, I especially liked the gnocchi. The truffle flavor wasn’t too overpowering and the flavors were balanced which I really liked. The ambiance was great and the staff were very kind and attentive. I would love to try the Afternoon tea as well in a future visit and also explore the other salons within the building.

I had a wonderful time at afternoon tea, and everything was simply delightful. The sandwiches and desserts stood out as particularly fantastic. I kicked off my experience with a lovely glass of champagne🥂 and then savored an array of delicious teas. The live music added a special touch, creating an atmosphere that was truly exceptional. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would definitely return to this place in the future! 🤍

I had a wonderful experience enjoying afternoon tea here. The ambiance is so artistic. As an art professional, I could feel the thoughtfulness in every detail. The food was superb—beautifully presented and slightly inventive while still honoring the traditional elements of afternoon tea. The staff were all warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to a lovely lady in a black dress with white polka dots. I deeply regret not asking for her name. We visited for afternoon tea on Wednesday, March 5th, and she had recently returned from maternity leave. Her warmth and kindness made our visit even more special. I hope she receives the recognition she deserves for her exceptional hospitality—she elevated an already wonderful experience at Sketch into something truly memorable.

One of my fave bars! Food is good, love the atmosphere. I’ve been a few times and I would definitely go again. Funky and quirky place. All rooms are very different and people always take pics in the toilets but they are very different! Food and service has always been great for me. Love the lobster bisque and the steak also very good! Great cocktails. Always a good night out!
