Accidentally came across Sassis on a walk through Carshalton a few weeks back, what a gem! The coffees were lovingly prepared... You know the ones where they ask you if you need sugar before the coffees made, perfect! This is not the end.... The waffle with ice-cream I had was...THE BEST WAFFLE I'VE EVER HAD. So good I'm reviewing it three weeks later. It showed these people love food and drink they make.
What an absolute gem of a cafe! Popped in for some lunch (not expecting much) and we had the most delightful time. The sandwiches were delicious and the sausage rolls are TO DIE FOR. Also had their slush-like coffee which was thick and rich (like a milkshake) and we were tempted by their wide range of desserts but were too full. So much choice for such a small cafe - amazing drinks and dessert selection. A must visit!
4 of my friends and I come every Monday morning come rain or shine. We love the coffee. Super friendly staff. Morgan even brought us an umbrella to sit under once when it was raining! Keep up the good work Sassis. It's great to have such a wonderful independent coffee shop on our doorstep.
Been here a few times with other mums. Great for families. Tasty cake options and friendly staff. The ice-cream milkshakes are delicious. Shame there is no shade as the tables don't have umbrellas.
