We absolutely loved this place. Amaaaaaaazing bagels, London’s best cappuccino and incredible service. We were attended by the lovely Alice who smiled throughout, gave us some great advice about what to do in the area and politely laughed at all my jokes. If we didn’t live abroad we’d be there for brunch everyday. Thank you Alice (and Will on the till). We’ll be back.

A very small cafe in the heart of Muswell Hill specialising in salt beef bagels. The bagels are fantastic and worthy of special mention alone. However, they also do a really nice coffee. Their flat white is the best in Muswell Hill, no question. They do have outside space, but it's standing room only inside, and they only serve in takeaway paper cups. Highly recommended, especially with a bit of sun, but it's got to the best takeaway coffee I have had in North London for many a year.

Banging bagels. Especially the Ruben and the chicken one. They are a hit every time. Get napkins, it will get messy. They are the best bagels around here. Their coffee is great too, beautifully roasted and smooth. Go try them!

Best Vegan Breakfast ever . Sausage and tofu were too delicious. Very impressed with Vegan options on the menu. Not many cafes have that many Vegan options to choose from and vegan cakes. Seems they have changed some items on the menu but with inflation and changing attitudes towards vegan food. I believe they still have around 80% plant based items . Beautiful vegan/vegetarian café with personable staff and a delightful coffee range. The options of faux-meat have moved on from the days of Quorn and it shows in things like the sausage rolls and bacon sarnies available here. Brunch, lunch, and sweet-treat options which all impressed even for a traditional meat eater. The only disappointing aspect is the slightly clunky name.

I’ve been coming here since the cafe first opened - it was one of those fortunate rainy day discoveries. I now often bring my friends here as it’s a perfect place to catch up. The service is very friendly, the food is bespoke, and I love the coffee (it’s the proper stuff.) There’s an outdoor sheltered garden as well.

Perfect for a quiet coffee break. The garden is tranquil with umbrellas, so good for any weather and the peanut butter blondies are delicious. Friendly and welcoming staff.

I came after reading the very positive reviews, searching for an authentic place where to have an English breakfast before leaving London. I was not disappointed! The staff (Frankie and the gentleman whose name I unfortunately don’t know) were caring and friendly. The atmosphere very laid back and familiar, away from the hustle and bustle of fake-chic cafes in downtown London and even around. The food genuine and tasty. If I ever had the chance to be around, I would definitely visit again!

A great local cafe that offer proper , authentic English breakfast. We have been there seven years ago and when we went there this morning we really enjoyed our breakfast. The service was as great as before, I ordered some toast with my breakfast but forgot to mention not to have any butter on them. when I asked them to see if they cam change it , this lovely lady brought some extra toast immediately which was very nice ( I know some other cafes in the area would probably charge !) . The quality of the breakfast was great, not greasy at all and so fairly priced. Would definitely be going back again.

Wow.. just wow! Having pree'd this place for a long time, today I decided to give it a try & wasn't left disappointed at all.. The food was cooked perfectly & very tasty; first cafe that's fried the toast under the egg, which resulted in taste buds overload 🤤 Customer service was lovely, no complaints 👌🏼 5* based on overall experience, would definitely recommend as best cafe in local proximity 👏🏼

Been coming here regularly for over a year now and it’s incredible food and service. Portions are properly done, nothing skimped here. Highly recommended to anyone that wants a proper caf/greasy spoon. Honest, and great food.

We really enjoyed everything! The service (I think Sibel was our server) was really fantastic. We had the Côtes du Rhône to drink and it was very very drinkable and a good price. I liked that the menu had a good range of French classics and all that we ate was delicious. I had the crème brûlée for desert and it was the smoothest and creamiest one I’ve had in a while. My only complaint would be the very loud person on the table behind that couldn’t have gluten, lactose, and had a vegan husband. I feel a real authentic French restaurant would have demanded they leave and never return, but instead they seemed to deal with all their needs politely and respectfully.

Exceptional French dining experience! Cozy atmosphere transported us to Paris. Our server Tom was attentive and knowledgeable. Highlights: Salade de Chèvre Chaud with perfectly grilled goat cheese, succulent Magret de Canard with orange sauce, crispy and flavorful Bar à la Peau Croustillante, tender Jarret d'Agneau Rôti in rich red wine jus, and a beautifully executed classic Tarte Tatin for dessert. Such a lovely little restaurant. Food was excellent, good portions and nice selection of wines. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Booking is recommended- we were there early on a Saturday evening and the place looked very busy as we were leaving.

Such a great coffee shop. Their full English is super tasty, super good looking and super artisan. Possibly the best i’ve ever had. The decor is great and the atmosphere is really welcoming. The staff look after you wonderfully, especially Georgie. Georgie’s coffees are magnificent and made in the best coffee cups i’ve seen. I couldn’t recommend more.

This is a long overdue review but we had to say a VERY big THANK YOU to the team especially Amy who was on top form on the day ensuring our 50 guests enjoyed themselves and our wedding dinner plans ran on schedule. It’s been two months since our wedding back in August and our guest talk about how lovely the food and atmosphere was at Cilicia. It was their first wedding event but they were absolutely pros. We enjoyed every moment and forever have fond memories about our day. If you ever have a small event and you want your guests to have lovely food and a lovely atmosphere with such amazing friendly people from the chef to everyone who is in that team. I highly recommend you try them. They were very flexible and accommodating as well to all the dietary requirements of our guests. Thank you Amy and everyone who made our day special.

Friday early evening and not too busy. We were fortunate enough to still be able to order from their set menu, really good offer. We opted for two starters, thr felafel, and spiced salami. For the we ordered one of the Trojan chicken as well as the Trojan lamb. This was a delicious dish with lamb cubes, herbs with diced shallots, wrapped and grilled in an aubergine slices, served with on a bed of aubergine and tomao sauce, served with rice. Staff was friendly and polite and accommodating towards our dietary requirements. Clean toilets, step free access too. Would definitely recommend and return.

We had a great lunch here today. The menu options at lunchtime were huge … breakfast, brunch & “set lunch”. We opted for the latter which at £16.95 for 2 courses was really good value for money. I had the Trojan Horse chicken as a main & it was absolutely delicious as was my lentil soup starter. My friend had chicken shish (they call it cubes) and the feta & spinach parcels. He loved them too. Service was flawless & the team were really friendly. We will definitely go back!

We enjoyed an excellent experience from the moment we were welcomed into the restaurant to the moment we left. The staff and owner are very friendly and proud of their establishment. The food was delicious, some of the best I've tasted and the price was very reasonable. Would recommend trying their hot meze platter.

Had a really really lovely dinner here at the weekend! Sea bass cooked beautifully, service was great and a special shout out to Julia who was amazing with some special requests :) and her eye for detail. Didn’t get the name of the other lovely lady unfortunately, she was just as helpful, and they both accommodated a lot for me too! would 110% definitely recommend - got busy towards the evening too which added to the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you so much again, we will be returning! :)

A lovely hidden gem in Muswell Hill Lovely garden with plenty of sunny and shady places. Food and drinks are fantastic value. Fresh and high quality ingredients, with a varied menu. I really enjoyed the sunshine breakfast and was particularly impressed with the scrambled egg. Staff members are very friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks arrive promptly.

Cozy spot, I visit often. The waitresses are always so very nice and welcoming. They all kinds of sweet treats like ice cream, tea cakes etc. They also have healthy shakes. They're open for breakfast and lunch. They normally close at 5pm. I have to mention that there is comfortable seating both upstairs and outside along with a kiddy play section. Ideal local place for a bite to eat or coffee in a relaxed and laid back environment.

I love this cafe, it’s close to bus stops and the main road at Muswell hill Broadway. The stuff is so friendly and very welcoming, quiet place to drink a coffee, hot choc, smoothie or tea. They got food as well in their selection and I love the way you can enjoy a nice terrace or upstairs a quiet cosy sofa/ chairs area. Full of books and a spacious comfy place to rest. Also is dogggg friendly !!!!!

A group of us met for brunch at this cafe after reading the reviews, and we were so pleased with our food and drink, the service and the atmosphere. I enjoyed the juice with apple, carrot, ginger and celery (‘stress buster’) and having tried a plate of four of the six salads on display and the chocolate tart, I will definitely return. The salads were of good portions and tasted so fresh. The juice was excellent! Thank you to the staff for their warm, quick service and their patience as I asked a lot of questions when selecting my salads and dessert!

My son took us to this restaurant because it was a short drive from the house. It also is an informal place where you pick you want and then they bring it to your table. This is not a fancy place. But a place to get a reasonable meal fairly quickly. I ordered an eggplant with pomegranate seeds. The others had salads and my grandson loved his chocolate filled croissant. The coffee was also good. The service was just a bit slow, but it was lunchtime and they were busy.

Nice place. Lots of people working on laptops, so it's not easy to find a free seat. Tea is not the best in London but not the worst either, ok. The matcha is not very good. The selection of pastries is small but nice. There's the whole standard selection. Dog friendly.

Doppio has become one of the great places to hangout over coffee in Muswell Hill, thanks to the brilliant atmosphere Girts, Alice, Matteo and their fantastic team create there. Their warmth and genuine hospitality always makes us feel at home, it's clear they pour their hearts into making the space a haven for the community. The decor is as inviting as the people, and of course, they serve great coffee that's always crafted with care and consistently delicious - definitely our fave in the area. Starting our day at Doppio has become a cherished ritual for me and my wife, and it's always a highlight. We can't recommend it highly enough - it's more than just a coffee shop; it's an experience (which the staff should take all the credit for) and contributes to making Muswell Hill the great place it is.

My aunt and I came here for lunch and loved it! The decor of the restaurant is very calming and classy and the staff are fantastic, so very attentive and friendly. We ordered the cheeseburger and the chicken schnitzel burger which arrived in less than 10 minutes and was very delicious. I highly recommend this place, it’s quickly going to become a new favourite I think!

Bob's Cafe is a spacious all day brunch restaurant right in the heart of Muswell hill. It extends quite far inside, so you can be sure to find a space to sit - even with groups. When we entered, we were greeted promptly and nicely. The staff was quick to help and food was served only after a few minutes. The drinks were really nice, especially the coolers. The food was tasty and the portions quite large, so you can be sure to be satisfied at the end! On star reduction mainly due to the addition of herb/garlic butter to the schnitzel. The lemon would've been sufficient and the butter takes away from the schnitzel flavor. Other than that I would definitely recommend!

This is such a lovely place. It's super busy and you're safer making a booking or you may be wanting a while. It's still worth the wait though. I've been here 2/3 times now and the service is always friendly, polite and super helpful. The team here are great. I've been here for breakfast, brunch and lunch and the food is fresh and tasty.
