The Post Room Cafe
2, Bedford Corner, S Parade, Chiswick, London W4 1LD, UK | Coffee Shop P: 07957 616616
Rating: 4.7 (295) Price Level:
Such a delightful gem of a café! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene, providing a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Chiswick High Road. Food is good, my friend thoroughly enjoyed her sausage sandwich and smoothie. My cake, while a bit too crumbly and too burnt for my liking, still delivered on flavour. The coffee, on the other hand, was rich and full-bodied, just perfect. I’ll definitely be back for a cozy hangout with great coffee and a laidback vibe!

A nice little cafe, 2 mins walk from Turnham Green station. Serving a good selection of breakfast & brunch dishes, good coffee & tasty pastries is a relaxing atmosphere. Friendly service & free WiFi. Particularly nice on a sunny day where you can sit outside with one of their delicious smoothies.

Lovely gem in Chiswick. Stumbled in by chance and loved the warm service and cosy vibe. Pancakes were perfect - great value.

I used to live in Chiswick and come here all the time. Now, every time I'm in London I try to visit Chiswick and The Post Room. It's still such a wonderful coffee shop, all these years later. Amazing coffee, friendly staff, a cosy interior and delicious food!

Ozwald Copplepot; Villainously Good Coffee

Rating: 4.7 (705) Price Level:
Just outside of Gunnersbury station, this quirky cafe offers delicious coffee & a variety of breakfast/brunch options & pastries. Vegans will find several options here. Made with care & served with a smile. More seating in the back. Note that there’s no WiFi in this cafe.

Ozwald Copplepot's coffee shop is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a cozy, family-owned atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The friendly staff are always ready with a warm smile and engaging conversation, enhancing the overall experience. But the star of the show is, without a doubt, the coffee. Each cup is meticulously crafted and bursting with flavor. It's evident that they take great pride in serving only the best. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a delightful cup to start your day, this place won't disappoint. The ambiance is inviting and quirky, with charming decor that adds to the unique vibe of the shop. It's a perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. I can't recommend Ozwald Copplepot's enough for anyone in search of excellent coffee and a welcoming environment. This place is truly villainously good!

I get my coffee and the occasional pastry from Oswald Copplepot and they are always DELICIOUS! The oat flat white is always made perfectly, smooth and never bitter. Their croissants are fresh and flaky. Couldn’t recommend more highly 🥰.

Beautiful spot, unique decor and vibe make this a great place to sit with family & friends. Coffee is honestly the best I’ve had, smooth and great tasting with gorgeous art, miles ahead of any other coffee place I’ve been to and food is lovely too. Ozzie the owner is a great guy, friendly and makes sure you have a perfect experience. New garden spot that has opened is so nice to relax in the sun, cannot recommend enough!

Nice and cozy place to have lunch. Especially the sourdough toasties are exceptional delicious. Absolutely the best food I had during my days in London. I lived in Gunnersbury 35 years ago. Wish this lunchroom had been there at that time!

The Coffee Traveller
58 Thames Rd, Chiswick, London W4 3RE, UK | Coffee Shop P: 07760 168225
Rating: 4.6 (432) Price Level:
Cosy cafe tucked away in leafy Chiswick, 2 mins walk from the Thames. Nice coffee, matcha, teas & smoothies. Tasty food made to order so it’s always fresh & takes a few mins longer to prepare. There’s also a variety of sandwiches & pastries. The owner is always there ensuring a high level of service & quality. Friendly staff & atmosphere. The secret garden at the back makes it a nice spot in the summer after a nice stroll by the river. Definitely worth a try.
Rating: 5 / 5
This is a hidden gem both regarding the coffee and the atmosphere! I love surprises and walking through the narrow rooms in the cafe to the backyard included a lot of unexpected things and beautiful styling. Thanks for a wonderful and different experience!
Rating: 5 / 5
Very chill and cute cafe nestled in a quiet street. Homemade sandwiches, milkshakes, 61% or 75% Madagascar/Peruvian hot chocolates, local beers etc. Small garden at the back. We usually swing by to get a coffee and a bite before walking down the Thames. Very friendly staff, highly recommend!
Rating: 5 / 5
The pastries at this charming café are not only fresh but also incredibly inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff members are welcoming and friendly, adding to the warm ambiance that I've come to adore. Ever since the new owners took charge, I’ve experienced a delightful transformation here. I can’t resist starting my day without indulging in a rich, aromatic espresso paired with my favorite pastries. It’s such a relief to finally have a wonderful place where I can relax and enjoy these little pleasures!

Angie's Chiswick
114 Chiswick High Rd., Chiswick, London W4 1PU, UK | Cafe P: 020 8994 3931
Rating: 4.5 (485) Price Level:
Lovely cafe. My daughter and I had brunch here. We both had avocado toast variations. The coffee was amazing. The staff was very kind and friendly.
Rating: 5 / 5
One if the best brunch spots in London. Superb fresh food at reasonable prices. The menu is unpretentious, service is friendly, and they happy to cater to your exact cravings. Great selection of savoury and sweets, all look delicious! Unfortunately I’m not a local, but will visit whenever I’m in the area.
Rating: 5 / 5
Anything less than 5* is an insult. My wife has been nagging me about coming here for some time and when we did go there was zero disappointment. Exquisite, extremely tasteful and just simply delightful. I had egg's royale, the salmon quality and quantity were overly sufficient, the hollandaise was so fresh and a real treat compared to other cafes using rubber hollandaise. My wife had the Shakshouka, the presentation was beautiful, the spice level was on point and the flavour was immense. We also had to have some blueberry hotcakes which we ended up taking away in a cute little box as we were absolutely stuffed. The coffee is served as a heart and understandable as the staff have love for their place of work! The staff were very friendly, the venue is dog friendly and the food was unbelievable. You pay what the food is worth in my opinion and yes it's not cheap but the gulf in quality and service is second to none. Incomparable. Thanks so much to Belle who was our team member assisting us predominantly. Our experience was amazing and we will definitely be back.
Rating: 5 / 5
Eggs Benedict were nice, both the salmon and the bacon options. The amount of bacon/salmon was satisfying. The cappuccino was extremely good, one of the best options I have tried in London. The staff was super friendly. The place has two small tables outside and a few tables inside. It was not too crowded at 10:00 on Saturday but people were coming while we were having our breakfast. Prices are a bit above average

Overall: ★★★★☆ Angie’s is a lovely, bright breakfast (coffee) spot on the easterly end of Chiswick High Road. It’s not big but it is bustling and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Despite the high prices I would return and it is definitely one of the better places to go. Food: Breakfast, Brunch & Light Lunches What I liked: • Friendly, attentive service • Very good presentation • Good selection of food with something for everyone • Very good coffee • Light and airy yet warm and inviting What I didn’t like: • High price point which will exclude a lot of people. I understand why though. • Despite the lovely presentation one item was burnt but am sure it was an oversight but nevertheless that was enough to drop a star (my standards are high!) Do I recommend going? YES Will I go again? YES Was it good value? NO Price Point: $$

Chief Coffee
Turnham Green Terrace Mews, Chiswick, London W4 1QU, UK | Coffee Shop P: Not available
Rating: 4.6 (514) Price Level:
Delicious Allpress coffee in a chill cafe with pinball and other arcade games! Didn’t try the pastries / baked goods.
Rating: 5 / 5
We went here as we were staying in a hotel locally. The coffee shop is really cool, the service was great, the server was really sweet. The food was good, especially the vegan sausage roll. It’s the best one I had. The pastries and coffees were also really good. The iced mocha was like a chocolate/coffee milkshake but it was nice. The arcade was amazing, quite a few different machines upstairs and then downstairs had a few pinball machines. Really cool and worth stopping in if you’re in the area.
Rating: 5 / 5
Note that this review isn't of the café part of Chief Coffee - although I know from the past that it's pretty decent. My reason for visiting was to play the pinball machines, which, first thing on a Thursday, weren't turned on. They were happy to switch them on for me and as with the past few times, they were flawless - a good mix of classic machines and modern ones, all for a pound a go, or three credits for two pounds. It's one of the best places in London for pinball and is clearly well looked-after. Upstairs is something else that's unique in London, an arcade filled with Japanese arcade machines. To add to the feel, they take 100 yen coins (which are sold in a "change" machine), and the cabinets and games are in Japanese. You don't need to speak the language though to have a good time, be it on Mario Kart, a machine which involved bouncing ping-pong balls, or the other games up there. Having been to Tokyo before, it's spot on - and well worth a visit. It's clear the owners have a real passion for these arcade and pinball machines, and it's refreshing to see how well looked-after they are.

Not sure where to start! Chief coffee is an amazing place to hangout with friends, my friend and I went for the first time today to try out the arcade upstairs. The different types of Japanese arcade games were amazing and machines were clean! We went specifically for the Initial D racing machines. At the start the machines for the Initial D screen went off mid race, but one of the lovely staff there offered us a credit back for the issue, we appreciated the kind gesture but politely declined as we already played about 3/4 worth of out credit we put in! ( Wasn’t sure on the persons name but she said she was fairly new! ) thanks for making my friend and I’s experience so great with the kind gesture! Will be returning soon and will give the coffee a try too! All the best. 😄 ( Attended 9th Jan 2025! )

The best coffee and matcha in Chiswick 🤍 So pleasant and friendly atmosphere and vibe! I discovered a cool spot with pinball machines downstairs (quite spot for reading before starting games) and Japanese arcades upstairs 🤩 today were amazing baristas Vanessa and Amber 🤍

Great place for a quick coffee run. Love their dirty chai!!! It's one of the best I've had. Friendly service and great recommendations. Definitely try it out if you're in the area. Also nice decor.

One of my favourite meeting places when I am meeting clients and/or friends in Chiswick. Right next to Turnham Green Station, it is well located for those getting on or off at that station. The food is above average, not great. The service is always very good. And, as small as it is, with only about 8-10 seats in there and a few less outside, there is always a good atmosphere in there. Great for people watching outside.
Rating: 5 / 5
Stumbled upon Heisenberg Coffee today and was incredibly excited as a big fan of Breaking Bad. The ceiling is adorned with equations, adding another layer of authenticity. I ordered a Chai Latte topped with raspberry, cinnamon, and chocolate powders—clearly, Mr. White's special touch 😎. It was delightful! The Wi-Fi password 'Say My Name' 😆 offers a humorous touch. A must-visit for any fan!!

Great coffee with jazz playing in the background - what's not to like!

Heisenberg coffee has always been highly recommended for great coffee in Chiswick. It is just outside Turnham Green station with indoor and outdoor seating options. The coffee is great and staff very nice and friendly. Cakes looks good too!

Urban Pantry

Rating: 4.7 (680) Price Level:
The service at urban pantry is excellent! Got a table for 7 in minutes with a smile and full of energy. The staff is polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. Our server Victoria was kind, funny and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the asparagus special and toasted banana bread👌🏼
Rating: 5 / 5
The menu rotates so what I share may not be available when you go, but just know that everything they serve is brilliant. The vibe is friendly and welcoming and the food is a balance between healthy and the comforting unhealthy dishes you want to tuck into. The mushroom and halloumi bap and the avo toast were the stand out dishes for me.
Rating: 5 / 5
I’ve been for brunch here so many times, and have never been disappointed. The items on the regular menu are great, but they also keep things fresh with changing monthly specials. Definitely one of the best places to brunch in London
Rating: 4 / 5
If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a fabulous breakfast, this is the place! I’ve sampled all of their ‘December Specials’ and was thoroughly impressed. The ‘Panettone French Toast’ was an unforgettable highlight! While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of service was excellent, and the ambience was simply charming. I highly recommend this place for a delightful and relaxing Sunday breakfast!
Rating: 5 / 5
On a Sunday morning, brunch was calling. We went to the pantry, as we heard it was fancy. We got there just in time, as there’s normally a line. Our dog could come in with us; she wouldn’t cause a fuss. I had a banging French toast, topped with a wobbly pannacotta. Ordered two flat whites to wash it down, (you just gotta). The others had the mushrooms and the avocado toast. I think my meal was best, I loved it the most. The servers were friendly, the prices weren’t bad. Got a sweetie with the bill, you can’t be mad. I’m not that good at poems, but they’re great at what they do. If they keep this standard up, I might get an Urban Pantry tattoo

We had brunch. We made a reservation and the staff were amazing holding it up, we were very apologetic by being 20min late. Stunning service, I had the shashuka and it was perfect.

By far the best brunch place I’ve had in London for the past 10 years. Toni the boss is an absolute charm, his warmth and kindness really brings joy to this neighbourhood. Foods are made by their own sourced ingredients and house made with dedication. My friends has all went here via my recommendations and we tried majority of their dishes here, never disappointed.

I highly recommend this place if you're in the Chiswick area! It's a lovely café-restaurant with a nice atmosphere. After 7 PM, they have live music, which adds to the experience. As for the food, it was really good!

This cafe is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with vinyl records spinning in the background, adding a nostalgic touch to your visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The food is delicious, with a great selection of fresh, flavourful options and the coffee is outstanding. If you're looking for a cozy spot to relax, enjoy great tunes and indulge in top-notch coffee and food, this place is a must.

This salad was outstanding. The presentation was a visual delight, resembling a vibrant garden with its array of edible flowers. The chicken was perfectly tender and bursting with flavour, marinated to juicy perfection. The condiments were exquisite, adding a rich depth of flavour that elevated the entire dish. The crushed avocado was a standout, bringing a creamy contrast that enlivened my taste buds. The salad leaves and tomatoes were exceptionally fresh, reflecting the high standards of this classy venue. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied.
Rating: 5 / 5
My favourite cafe in Chiswick. Fabulous vibe and really excellent food: from a more substantial brunch or lunch, to a coffee and croissant or cake. LP records spin and provide the backdrop. I go very regularly and really recommend it.
Rating: 4 / 5
Overall, a nice, cozy cafe! Good coffee, music, & ambiance. The brunch is tasty, reasonably priced & always presented beautifully. I didn’t particularly like the muffin or the matcha latte (not a good quality matcha), but their coffee was very good! Service with a smile!

Rating: 4.4 (438) Price Level:
I have come here a few times, but luckily I have always been served by the same girl who is very friendly and makes the visit pleasant. I have had a very nice tea with lemon and mint accompanied by a lemon pudding. All the dishes look very good. I recommend it.

Finally tried out Mali’s on Chiswick High Road. Super friendly staff and very helpful with finding seats. Hot food was good and pastries also great. Lots of deli salad options too. Very child friendly as well.
Rating: 5 / 5
We had brunch here on a Saturday and most of the tables were full by noon. Sourdough, avocados, smoked salmon and poached eggs were £19 plus £4 for cafe latte. I enjoyed my dish. The full English breakfast was not as good though as the mushrooms were not very tasty and grilled tomatoes were too “watery.” My coffee wasn’t hot but I give this venue 5 stars because my main was delicious. I felt a tiny bit rush towards the end as they cleared the table while we were still chatting.
Rating: 5 / 5
Was walking past and decided to pop in for a late lunch. Its quite a large cafe, not the most aesthetic but has such a wide selection of pastries and drinks. I asked for a roast vege quiche with a side of salad. It was a lot tastier than I expected, the salad had juicy mango slices which I didn’t expect. Would definitely order this again on my next Chiswick high street shop :)
