I recently moved into the area after having the same hairdresser for 5 years I was nervous to try somewhere new. I really enjoyed the calm, clean and friendly atmosphere at Blakes and found everyone warm and welcoming. Annie did a full head of blonde highlights for me and I was really pleased with the colour. I felt really freshened up and the colour was beautifully done. I definitely recommend a visit.

Cassie is the best! My hair was looking weird after a box dye and she took me back to a lovely chocolate brown. The girls really look after you, couldn't have asked for more! 100% recommend to anyone and everyone

Come here for a parting bleach (training) and booked again for a next time. Excellent training from the girls' tutor and an excellent job. I believe it was Ellie and Isla? We (myself and my mum) felt so relaxed throughout and was constantly informed of procedures . Totally made to feel at ease.

Wow! Just wow! So happy, my daughter (13yo) had her hair cut this evening and the whole experience was amazing. She loves her cut and the hairdresser took time to show her how best to style it and gave lots of tips to help her maintain the brilliant cut she was given. Would highly recommend the salon.

CASSIE IS AMAZING!! After numerous bad experiences with other hairdressers I had put off getting my hair cut. But after nearly two years it did need a cut so read the reviews and booked with Cassie. Was very scared but OH MY LIFE!! I’ve actually found a hairdresser that listens, did what I asked and advised on what to do in the future. My faith is now restored.
