I had the pleasure of visiting the salon today and receiving services from Leah, and I must say I am absolutely delighted with the experience. Sooooo very happy with my hair for the first time I have been to a hairdresser, and I am 60yrs now, took a while!! Leah was amazing, she really listened to what I wanted, and talked through all the options, and the results are fabulous, everyone is commenting on how lovely my hair looks. Edit: Further to me posting this review, the lovely owner got in contact with me to talk through my points and offered me compensation or a free haircut and blowdry. The owner really obviously cares a lot about her business and staff and this wholly translated through this phone call - she's a really lovely lady who wanted to make things right, so I've added a well deserved star. I wholeheartedly appreciate the compensation provided to me, thanks so much for listening to my genuine review. I did want to reiterate that everyone I have had contact with at the Chair have been so lovely, my hair stylist included, and it seems I just had a rare bad experience, via miscommunication or other. Thanks to everyone at the Chair for genuinely caring and making things right. Original Review: Unfortunately I won't be coming back. My stylist was a really really lovely person and did a fabulous job on my bangs but I asked for 2 inches max off my length and at least 3-4 have been cut off my long hair. 2 inches was all I wanted at a maximum because I have very long hair and struggle to feel myself without it but wanted a refresh. I also asked for small beach waves for styling and got a princess curly hairdo instead- not me and not what I asked for at all, and I had photos in tow as an example of what I wanted and just wasn't what I got. I ended up going home and restyling it myself. The cut itself is nice (barring the extra length cut off which I'm not happy about) but for £78 I can't fathom that what I got is what I paid for. A pity, as I came here after having a few bad experiences too.

Warm, welcoming and relaxing - that's just the service. In a world where service seems to be an afterthought for so many businesses, The Chair is a refreshing change. I have been going to this salon since I moved down to Canterbury and would recommend not only for the service but for simply how good they are. The owner took time to speak to me when I first visited and still remembers my name.

Honey is just brilliant, really thorough with the manicure and always up for cute designs! Everyone at Salon Chique is so lovely too!

Jo listened to all my hair woes. She checked my previous layers and dry ends. She was careful to make some suggestions but wanted to wait until it was washed. She was able to adjust the cut to a similar style but included solutions to heaviness problems and somehow my parting had moved, which she was able to sort. Its lovely now, Thanks Jo .🥰

First time at Salon Chique and I will be back. I was with Honey for eyelash tint and lift. She was very delicate and the session was super relaxing. I am very pleased with the result and will definitely have it done with Honey again.

Highlights and a cut with Jo who does the best curly blow dry! Shampooing with the most relaxing head massage. Always arrive feeling welcomed and leave feeling great. Thank you 🙏

Danielle did an amazing job on my cantankerous wavy curly hair. Great cut which means I can care for it myself. She took time to find out what I would really like. She was friendly and interesting to talk to. A lovely relaxing yet professional treat. I’m coming back

I have visited twice in the last week and had 4 treatments. The first visit was for an exfoliating treatment followed by a full body massage with Karita. I had managed to book my treatments for the hottest day of the year but the room was a comfortable temperature and Karita made me feel at ease throughout. The products used felt very luxurious and it felt like a real treat. I went again for a facial followed by lash lift & tint with Madison. The facial was very relaxing and again such a treat! The eyelash perm & tint was the most comfortable time I've ever had this treatment. Although perming solution is never a pleasant smell my eyes weren't irritated and I didn't have any discomfort as I've had at other salons. I'm so pleased with my lashes! I was given a few samples of the products used in the facial to take home. They also offer a loyalty stamp card and when you have collected 10 stamps you receive 10% off.

Had high and lowlights with Danielle. She was fantastic. Listened to what I was trying to achieve and the results are just what I wanted. There was no pain which sadly I had become accustomed to with my old hairdresser. It was a lovely relaxing experience with a very talented hairdresser. I will be back. Thank you 😊

I absolutely love it in here. It was the first ace I ever got my hair done and they were so sweet and accommodating, not rude in any way. The drinks are DELICIOUS that you get as well, making the experience so much better 💜

I had a bouncy blow dry with Chapette’s new apprentice ‘Scarlett’ last week and was super impressed. She was friendly, confident and amazing, working her magic on my unruly hair!! Great addition to the team, I think her blow dry bar will be big competition in town!! Go Scarlett!

Charlee has been fantastic.I have had botox and fillers,and really happy with the results,especially the lips.I was nervous about having my lips filled from a previous establishment,as it was so painful,but she made sure I was completely numbed,and takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. Will never go anywhere else now,and would 100% recommend without hesitation.Thank you Charlee.

After awful experiences at other salons I reached out to this beautiful little salon near my work and I couldn’t be happier. Kay, Immy, Jade and Liv are welcoming, incredibly professional and are ultimately the sweetest team. Over the last year, Immy has made me feel confident about my nails, something that has always been a big insecurity for me. I started my biab journey over a year ago and with regular appointments my nails have never been more healthy and more beautiful. I can’t thank these girls enough for the perfect treatment every time. Definitely reccomend their massages and their nails especially anyone wanting to start their biab journey!! (Picture 1 first set -> picture 2 current set) As my nails grew, so did my Pinterest boards and it really got out of hand… in the best way🤣🫡. Every design I have given Immy over the last year she has taken in her stride, from Taylor swift Eras nails to Cherry red with diamontes, Leopard print to my Barbie and Ken cherry bonanza- she’s done it all. Her ability to take a an idea and make it her own is really really special. …And when I don’t have any ideas, it’s a salon vote, Kay and Immy will help me work out exactly what I want and make it better than I could imagine it!! Sometimes watching Immy effortlessly detail, design and paint is mesmerising and I realise I’m staring 🤣 She clearly loves what she does and so, as my nails have grown, I have subconsciously been challenging her to top the last set🤣. I’m very grateful that I walked into this little salon that has now had the BIGGEST of glow ups and get to have beautiful art on my nails all month long because of Immy’s hard work and creativity. The beauty studio🤍 I have used The Beauty Studio (previously Kay’s beauty studio) for many years now and I would never go anywhere else! The salon itself is to a phenomenal standard (luxury does not even do it justice), it’s clean, welcoming & the decor is just to die for. With a wide range of incredible treatments offered alongside high quality products, there is no better place to go. As soon as you enter the studio, you can instantly tell the amount of love and hard work that has been put in to make this a place people would be delighted to go to. The team at The Beauty Studio have been nothing but professional, welcoming and in a lot of cases - a well needed therapist! I have had many treatments from all of the team and they all deliver incredible results! I have been a model for training purposes, in which the senior team have provided guidance and support for their members of staff learning something new, not only making me feel at ease to have the treatment, but I can imagine, really supports the staff that are learning too. I will recommend The Beauty Studio to anyone I come across!

Absolutely love coming here for all of my beauty treatments! The million dollar facial has been instrumental in my skincare routine and they have every colour under the sun for gel manicures. Everyone is so lovely, highly highly recommend ☺️

Used Stone Hairdressers for the first time today (well my partner did) I had booked for my partner to get her hair done as a birthday gift. From the moment we stepped through the door the girls were extremely welcoming! It's a beautiful salon, well kept and clean. Each staff member in there was very approachable and attentive to everyones needs. Finally - the finish look my partner had done was absolutely GORGEOUS. A huge thank you and shout-out to Chelsie. I think we've found our new salon we will be using in the future! Lovely find. Highly recommend.

Booked a last minute deal for a wash, cut and style with Thea. Thea did a pre-cut consultation to ensure she knew exactly how I wanted my hair to look. The cut was perfect and looked amazing one my hair was styled. The products used were fabulous. My hair felt and smelled incredible, so much so that it still smelled wonderful 2 days later. I called the salon and asked to purchase the shampoo, conditioner and oil and Thea popped a complimentary mousse product in the bag for me. Honestly, this is the best salon in Canterbury. I return time and time again and have never been disappointed.

I was booked in for my birthday, straight from the get go, the ladies at front of desk were welcoming and attentive, checking your needs before you sat down. My stylist was Chelsie, she did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and eased any anxieties I had about being in the hairdressers. She talked me through her processes and the reason she worked the way she did. Chelsie was super fun and bubbly! She also did not gate-keep her secrets to luscious hair! Been visit Sabi for a year for my waxing and couldn’t recommend her more! Brilliant customer service she gets to know you and your preferences, remembers to ask about topics you’ve previously spoken about and makes you feel at ease during her service. I always feel comfortable during the treatment and know that I’m in good hands - Sabi’s attention to detail is like no other, she will ensure you leave with smooth skin and teach you how to look after your skin between waxes :)

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a wax after meeting Sabi! I was looking for somewhere to go to have a Hollywood wax for the first time, after reading her Google reviews I was sold. Sabi really does look after you, she is friendly and kind and she does all she can to make you feel comfortable during your treatment. Sabi makes what could be considered an “intimidating” treatment a completely easy experience. I’d recommend Sabi every single time!

Will was lovely, He made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I asked for a restyle, not knowing what I wanted and asked for his advice. He chose a cut that I feel very comfortable with styled with the hair dryer beautifully! Very happy with the results, I won’t leave it a year to find a new hairdressers again- I’ll be returning with my children next time! :)

Had a jellyfish cut done by Ben and I’m incredibly happy with the results! The length and style is exactly what I wanted and I really felt listened to about my wants from the appointment. Highly recommend him as he was very kind and accommodating and gave me a great cut :)

I booked a last minute appointment with Elise for my 10 year old daughter yesterday and she had the most wonderful experience. It was her first time visiting a salon and she was thoroughly pampered and absolutely thrilled with her haircut. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend Elise enough.

Had a haircut with Elise today and cannot recommend enough! Best haircut experience I have had. Elise carefully listened to me and did my hair perfectly, and exactly how I wanted it. This was funny because where I have gone somewhere else before, they have said I couldn't get a fringe because of my cow's lick, but Elise proved them wrong and gave me the perfect wispy fringe. What made the experience even better was how she talked me through it the whole time, making sure I was happy with the cut throughout, this was really nice because most hairdressers don't do this. Overall, Elise is the best person I've gone to for my hair and I will definitely be going again. I walked out feeling like a total new me, which I loved.

Another great visit to Camomile Rooms. I visited yesterday for an oxygen facial with Maxine. My skin was very dehydrated, but now it feels so soft and rehydrated. I am amazed at how my deep frown lines can hardly be seen after one treatment, and the fine lines I can not see at all. I will definitely be booking in for another treatment. It was also so relaxing, I could have just dozed off. Thank you, Maxine
