Food amazing, we went without booking and had seats right in front of the fire 🔥
The gammon was delicious and such a big plateful. A proper gammon steak, ( not a processed plastic one!!) . I had the lamb suet pudding with veg & mash, was delicious 😋
We shared a pudding as a birthday treat and the treacle sponge was also delicious and served with custard.
Will definitely go again 10/10 xxx 😊

Truly magnificent food in a lovely place. My wife and I had a Sunday roast beef and a different dessert each on a trip to sample what it was like and booked my wife's birthday celebration dinner for about 16 people before we left. The roast beef was beautiful and tender, roast, mashed potato, broccoli, carrots,cabbage, yorkshire pudding, small sausage sauce boat of extra gravy. Watched other plates going out, the giant yorkshire pudding was a plate filling monster.
Has off road carpark to rear of building, entry doors to 3 sides. Accessible toilet via small ramp.
10/10 we will be back again. We came on a Sunday for a burger and a salad, the staff accommodated to my dietary requirements and service was brilliant. We had a to wait a while to get seating since we didn’t book but absolutely worth it. This place is a real gem - thank you
