Was looking on google maps for a pub to stop off on a long drive home, this place wasn’t far off route and looked good so decided to try it. So glad I did! Lovely staff, the food was excellent, not too busy or too quiet, just right for a relaxing rest 👌 Will definitely return if I am passing the area again 👍
Had a beautiful meal here tonight, mixed grill was brilliant, Hunter chicken for the son in law, steak for the daughter and roast dinner for the wife. Everything was well cooked & plenty my of it, the highlight though is the staff they were all friendly, attentive and very pleasant. We will call again. Used to live in south Elmsal 35 years ago and there’s been different ones here but it definitely has to be the best it’s ever been. Well done guys. You well deserved the five stars, and the tip 😉
Called in today on our way to DIY kitchens. What a great bonus the carvery was great and very good value. Staff were polite and helpful.
Can recommend especially for a traditional Sunday dinner.
Had a mixed grill , first the sausages were to die for and the meat cooked beautifully steak to my preference, chips crispy cooked to perfection, my friend had a burger on pretzel bun was well price for money , and the beer is tasty , definitely will be back and telling everyone
Friendly staff and a gorgeous chicken tikka sizzler.
With a lovely pint of John Smith to go with.
