Such lovely little place! So glad we found it on a wintry day for a good mulled wine and cup of hot chocolate. Quick service and space in the building (lovely inside and very old structure with spiral stairs) or outside either upstairs at bridge level or under the bridge at river level with heaters and blankets. Quick service, nice staff and a lot on offer.
Very nice and cosy place! The food and drinks are delicious and they have a wide variety. Will definitely go back!
Absolutely beautiful setting. I was there during the evening before the sun set and they had the lamp warmers which was fantastic in that cooler evening. The umbrellas kept everything dry as it rained a little, and being by the river, it was unique, especially being served from a tiny tower! Excellent service, top notch kindness from the server. Yummy hot chocolate. Definitely a romantic place for a couple, sitting at the tables with rug like seating. My pictures are red because of the heating lamps! ☺️
Lovely place and lovely food at Sophies riverside café. The outdoor seating area looking over the river was perfect for soaking up the sunshine. Staff were, friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the menu had a great selection, especially for Gluten Free which makes a nice change. The smoothies, milkshakes, cake, and gluten-free wraps were all spot on. Can't recommend this place enough!Thank you, loved it and fully recommended.
