I had an afternoon in Ilkley today and was ready for lunch. Myself and a friend chose this place as it looked very inviting. The menu outside was easy to read and the prices about average. On entering,the staff were very friendly and showed us to a table. The atmosphere and decor here is wonderful, with many pictures/ paintings on the walls. The lighting was perfect. Our waitress Katie was very attentive and the rest of the staff were very pleasant. We had a mix-up with the drinks which was our fault and the male waiter was very understanding and helpful.
The food was very tasty and we had ample portions. I spent longer than normal in this place. It was a very relaxed and pleasant place to be. It was good old-fashioned service and we felt valued customers from entering to leaving. Thank you to all the staff, especially Katie for adding joy to my afternoon in Ilkley. 10 out of 10.
Great service & Lovely food! We called in yesterday afternoon and wasn't disappointed. The food was fresh & flavoursome, the drinks nice and cold with lots of choices available, and the service impeccable. The Korean prawns, with ssamjang, lime and sesame seeds were to die for, we enjoyed them so much we ordered a second lot!
Big shout out to our server Charlie, who was lovely and obviously was enjoying her job. A credit to the business. Give this place ago if your passing, we weren't disappointed, sure you will find it enjoyable too.
Initial impression led to low expectations but lasting impression was of excellence! The service was the best thing - the waitress was wonderfully attentive and chirpy, but also the food was tasty, no complaints there, and the house speciality soft drinks were a treat. Excellent people and dog watching from the tables outside.
PERFECT PLACE - I work/ study here often, and can enjoy breakfast, brunch and dinner (and gorgeous coffee) throughout the day. The staff are lovely, and it feels like a second home. Food wise, i am dairy-free and there are lots of great vegan options.
I am yet to try the boozy drinks but I'm sure they will be just as lovely as everything else!
