Lovely atmosphere. Really good feel, wasn't sold in the food. Ordered the Brown Horse beef burger as did 4 others in our group and it was tough, dense hard to chew, felt like hard graft eating it. Others enjoyed their dishes though. Staff are really good, very helpful and polite.
Called in at lunchtime, spur of the moment decision and although we hadn’t booked, they squeezed us in, despite them being very busy already.
I’m glad we did - it was superb. Meat lasagne, veg lasagne and the steak and ale pie. All were excellent.
Lovely staff too.
My husband and I have been eating here regularly for a long time, the food is always amazing, the place is run by a family who go over and above all if the time , it’s a u pique pub and definitely worth a visit
Lovely pleasant surroundings. Lovely pleasant staff. Very attentive polite helpful. Food fantastic. We will definitely call in again.
