A place 10/10! The food here is from heaven! I heard about this place, and decided to give it a go. “Tochitura” was amazing, the polenta with the egg on top, the meat juicy, absolutely amazing. The “papanași” are something cannot be described, melting in your mouth, fresh, full of flavour, 11/10! Well done guys!

We recently discovered this Romanian gem, and it’s hands down one of the best! The food is absolutely delicious and brings all the flavors of homemade Romanian dishes. It truly feels like savoring a meal made by family back home.🤩 Being far from Romania, this place is a perfect way to cure the longing for authentic Romanian cuisine. We tried pomana porcului and sarmale—both were fantastic! We also took home some soups and papanasi for later, and every bite was exceptional.👌 Portions are generous, and the option for takeaway is a big plus. We’re already looking forward to going back, and this spot has officially earned a place on our list of favorite restaurants in the UK. Highly recommended for anyone missing that true taste of Romania! ✨️✨️✨️

Amazing tasty food, top location and very friendly and helpful staff, so happy with my decision to try this new location. Acasa has recently opened its doors, bringing a taste of Romania in Leeds and an IMPORTANT addition for the Romanian community living in Leeds and surroundings. We were delighted by the delicious food and generous portions, making it a wonderful addition to the local dining scene. There is plenty of parking on the site and did not have any issues with finding a space. The surroundings are beautiful being situated at a golf centre. The prices are fair for the generous portions and a good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. We don’t drink alcohol but if we did, we surely would have tried their welcoming drink “palinca”. We started our meal with aubergine and vegetable Romanian spread followed by sarmale, the traditional Romanian cabbage rolls filled with minced meat and rice. We also had traditional tochitură moldovenească which is to die for and everyone should try it at least once! All meals were cooked to perfection, with a rich, savory flavor that was truly comforting. The bread was homemade and really tasty. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the polenta was creamy and smooth, providing a perfect balance. To finish, we tried the papanași, Romanian doughnuts served with sour cream and cherry jam. While the food was exceptional, the service did have its slow moments towards the end of our visit. It took a bit longer than expected for our desert order to arrive, and there were occasional delays in getting our server's attention. However, considering it was their opening day, some teething problems were understandable. The staff was notably friendly and warm, making sure to acknowledge us and apologize for the wait. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to our dining experience, making the slight delays more bearable. In conclusion, Acasa is a welcome addition to the Romanian community in Leeds. I have no doubt this restaurant will become a favorite spot for many and surely we will return again.
