Georgie and Megan were extremely professional and provided outstanding customer services and on top of that very friendly ladies. They went above and beyond to ensure our wedding is perfect for us and our guests. They attended to all our last minute decisions and changes and on top of that paid attention to details that we never thought guests will notice. With us being in different countries, they managed to communicate very well during the planning. The moment we met with them months before the wedding we knew we were in good hands. A huge thank you to Georgina and Megan. We got married in October 2017. What do you need to know - We went for a late start with a 4 pm service meaning the day and daylight was slightly shorter than many weddings. - We had 150 guests many who had flown over from as far away as Oz and Singapore. -The biggest storm of the year graced us with its presence - gale force winds and torrential rain! Storm Brian! How did the team do? - 10/10. I was dressed like a (stylish) geisha with a 10 foot trail. Despite the rain, cars were put on without asking to get me to ceremony room. - Before entering the service room, a white table cloth was sacrificed for me to stand on to stop the dress getting wet and numerous staff including Ian protecting me with brollies whilst my trail and veil was sorted. -Guests were whipped away in buggies to the drinks afterwards - as slick as you could get. - The drinks reception was extended without any questions asked of Dan & I so we could get our wellies on for some outside pictures! Ian the master of ceremony sacrificed yet another table cloth so madam here didn’t get her dress dirty during the pictures!! - The room was AMAZING. Floor to ceiling fairy lights, flowers, feathers, room wash, white covered stage where the band played jazz during dinner, Matt Windsor joined us for some close up magic. We brought in chairs and a 6 foot wide long tables. Trails of flowers everywhere. - All of this was seamlessly coordinated by the girls along with all of my silly details from menu cards to wooden table names. The girls even managed to get a load of guests out for some bonfire sparklers action after dinner! We live in London so much of the arranging was done either by email or visits to the venue. Georgina and Megan stayed late on Friday evenings for us to sort the wedding when we visited Knutsford and gave us a huge amount of time and great service. All of the tables were set up over night along with the lights which took hours (I’m told to go up) all the while Dan & I could hold our warm up drinks in Knutsford the night before. If you want great attention to detail, a hassle free day, great service, seamless coordination and an eye for detail then I would definitely recommend Georgina and Megan. We had the pleasure of working with IWE recently for a client wedding and they were very professional and easy to deal with. Georgie & Megan are both lovely, friendly and so helpful, they really made us feel like part of the wedding team on the day. Their communication was great and we felt well looked after, they managed the wedding day perfectly. I can't recommend these ladies highly enough they were an absolute please to work with and the wedding styling & decor was absolutely STUNNING! We look forward to working with them again in the future.

We opted for the rustic wooden frame and "Forever & Always" neon sign with their new sun beam neon accents for our wedding in February 2025. We were looking for something special for our wedding at Colshaw Hall and were recommended 'The Word Is Love.' After perusing through the extensive catalogue (we were spoilt for choice), we settled on the 4ft rustic letters for our surname which provided the perfect backdrop for both the wedding breakfast and evening reception! Suzy and Ollie were very quick to respond to our enquiries and made the whole process extremely straight forward - from the initial booking, set up at the venue and collection the next day. Suzy and Ollie communicated directly with the venue which we were incredibly appreciative of! Thank you Suzy and Ollie and the Word is Love team for being a part of our special day and providing us with the perfect backdrop (and our guests with some amazing photo opportunities!)

We hired the neon ‘until death do us party’ sign from the word is love. It looked even better (and bigger) than I expected - I loved it and it looked great next to our dance floor. Suzy and Ollie were so helpful and the hiring/set up etc was so easy and all organised by them but fitting in with everything we asked! The best decorator in town! Connie was incredible from start to finish. I liked her right from our first conversation—she was polite, professional, and gave me so much confidence. The hall’s color limited our options, and I was initially unsure, but when I walked in on the day, I was blown away. From the minute we booked, I do taxi's. Rob was fantastic, really helpful, and always on hand to answer questions. On our wedding day, the service and the traditional white taxi that Rob provided was outstanding. He is very professional and made my journey with my Dad to the venue one to remember. Thanks so much to Rob and I Do Taxis for a great experience on Saturday for our wedding!!! Everything was great. Both cars turned up early to the location we had agreed, the communication beforehand was excellent. The cars were wonderfully decorated and very clean. Rob was very accommodating with waiting a few extra minutes while we waited for some late guests to arrive! Everything was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We used this company for our son’s wedding last weekend and could not fault it in any way. The driver Bob was helpful and courteous throughout and sympathetic to our needs. The taxi itself looked lovely: beautifully decorated and great on the photos. Would definitely recommend to anyone hosting a wedding.

Really easy to book with and a really personable guy. Rob takes you through the proceedings the day before to make sure everything goes to plan and to help reduce any stress. Then the taxi itself looks great and you get a nice celebratory prosecco afterwards which is a nice touch. Great experience and would highly recommend!

Communication and recommendation before hand was spot on and their attention to detail on the night is what makes them from being good to outstanding. Excellent experience from start to finish Paul was great and helped with ideas for cocktails and mocktails. All the guests complimented on the perfect balance for the wedding. To top it all off the bar and display looked stunning. Very professional set up! The whole team were there throughout the day asking if we needed anything. Definitely made the day special!

Hired Jessica to dress the room for my daughter's 18th birthday party. She did an absolutely amazing job. The room looked beautiful and was so person centred and fitting to my daughters taste. Jessica was so helpful from the very start and even helped book the room for me I was holding the event in. Her communication skills are on point and her rates are brilliant and certainly for how much hard work she puts into it. Will definitely be using vintage events again for future parties/events.

She was there every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the requirements etc, covering every detail. We were so pleased with the welcome board, balloons & light up numbers & it added the perfect touch to the venue & party. So glad we chose Vintage Events Manchester.
