Went for dinner (booked) last night (Saturday) we are not regulars but do go about every 6 weeks. From start to finish it was a lovely experience, drinks ordered and served to the table, fantastic menu and food was amazing - perfect portion sizes (large!)
Our waitress was a lady called Cass and was absolutely what made our evening so nice, attentive without being in your face, knowledgeable and polite. The other waitresses seemed to be providing a similar service to other tables.
Clearly a good management team. Well done 👍
Went along today with my old Dad, where we met two friends.
The staff are very welcoming, and wonderfully efficient. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I had the Turkey dinner, and it was superb. Loads of meat, and nicely cooked veg along with roast and mash potato. All of it nice and hot. Absolutely wonderful meal.
A lovely place to go for a meal, whatever the occasion.
The staff are an absolute credit. It's nice to find such a friendly, welcoming place.

Had a birthday celebration at lunchtime the food, service and atmosphere couldn't have been better. Excellent value and great tasting home cooked food. Can tell it's all freshly made. Thank you. Recommend without a doubt.
Came here for a meal with my dad and had a lovely time.
There was a wide variety of dishes on the menu, definitly something for everyone. We opted of the homemade steak and ale pie and the fish. Both dishes were lovely. You can tell that the food is made with care and everything is homemade.
The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing and the staff were also very nice and friendly. There was a large selection of drinks available too.
A great spot to eat and drink in Ackworth 👌

Maisie served us and a very polite and helpful young lady. The food was delicious compliments to the chef and his staff I really couldn’t fault it. Just drinks or food 100% a very good place.
