Just like to give a big thank you to all the staff who were working on the 30th March 2024. I had to book an appointment to have my boy put to sleep as he was very ill. I could hardly talk when I phoned, the receptionist was so patient with me and got me in as soon as possible. The lady that dealt with us, I didn't get her name, I was a bit oblivious to what was going on to be honest. She was so kind, helping in anyway, she even said she'd wait for my son and daughter as they wanted to be there. I've never lost a pet in this way before, so it was a new experience for me. When I had to have my cat Lucky put to sleep the staff were amazing. They showed us empathy and compassion and it was handled in a very dignified manner. It was the little touches like letting me holding her as she went and the fur clippings and paw and nose prints that added to the meaningfullness. They made a very traumatic time, easier than I'd of imagined. I have another cat, Roamie who is looked after by them and that won't be changing! Thank you, to you all !

I took my 1 year old lab for a checkup due to her breathing. She’s an extremely nervous dog and always has been, she’s currently in training. I can’t thank the staff enough for being so patient with us. Our first visit, we couldn’t even get near the vet without my pup being terrified, after speaking further with the staff, we figured out a way to have the consultation. Such amazing and sweet staff and I really appreciate how much they helped us. We’ve been with many vets, yet this is by far the best. Most vets wouldn’t have wanted to see us again. The only way we got a happy tail wag was when my pup noticed the teddies they had on display, I can confirm their teddies are worth buying too! They are super helpful, if you also have a nervous pup, I called up to explain and spoke to them in advance. I definitely recommend! (As you’ll see in the photo, she was extremely happy with her teddy)

Have been using Scott Arms Vets for over 10 years now and have always found both the staff and vets professional and caring. They take excellent care of my 3 Pugs who are all adopted. I trust them explicitly and the vet is always caring and explains everything including future treatments and costs.

What a change. I took my two girls in today for their top up jabs. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Eles, the vet and Alice the other vet were a great team. And I must mention the help at the reception, it was how you want a Vets to be!

Our elderly cavalier has a heart murmur and we might have needed a scan (expensive). We had agreed to the cost but Vet Steve said she is not bad enough to need it yet and charged us NOTHING. What great ethics and care. Thank you so very much. We changed from a vet owned by VC’s to Ashfield and have not regretted it for a single moment. Wonderful animal people

I had to say goodbye to my beloved cat Rosie. All of the staff were so compassionate the whole time. The procedure was explained at great length and they didn't seem rushed. I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart. Such a wonderful veterinary practice

My puppy eat rat poison. I immediately called my Vet practice by Morrisons who refused to see him unless symptoms were occur. I was told to wait 1 or 2 hours and I would see any foam coming out from his mouth, vomiting or diarrhea they would then take him as emergency. I listen to my instincts to go to Vets for Pets in Sheldon. Everyone was very friendly, took my puppy for detoxing treatment, after 1 hour they informed me that they could see a lot of poison pellets in his vomit and that I did the right thing of coming in straight away . Thank you for saving my puppy life

These guys really care about the animals they are dealing with. Took my Harley to be neutered. Very friendly. Very helpful. And they gave me all the advice needed for aftercare

My cat developed a urine infection in September 2024 (by this point we had been attending the vets for 2 years and my family had done with our previous cats as well in the past) all was okay after a course of antibiotics and pain relief but then a few months later I noticed he was un well again and I took him in and he unfortunately had blocked bladder and needed an emergency operation, he recovered and was allowed back home with me, the next few weeks or so was spent with trips back and forth to the vets along with giving him medication unfortunately he was still not passing urine properly and was blocked again so I had to let him go 💔 I know Rebecca and the team did everything they could to try and help him. They were all so caring (my boy was scared but he was such a Mommy’s boy he only loved me and no-one else) I’ve given 4 stars rather than 5 as I was seen by a locum vet at one point and as lovely as he was he gave me incorrect information at one point.

Everyone is so friendly and the advice we got on our new puppy was really helpful. I would say they are trustworthy so we would definitely recommend this vets. The prices seem fair and the new puppy started pack was great value. Thank you!

I really can't complain honestly they have really looked after my boys Casper and Tigger and Smokey and also the receptionist very friendly and also gave me a couple of chocolates as I'm diabetic to bring my sugars back up and made sure I was ok to I'm so grateful,I definitely recommend people to go here with there little baby's never had a problem with them thank you so much for everything much appreciated.

I have had to use Blaise twice in the last year, one for my dog, Sidney, who was a referral and the second time was the out of hours service for my elderly dog Tom. Sadly both occasions didn't have a good outcome as circumstances were beyond anyone's control. I just want to say how lovely everyone was with my dogs and how caring and professional they were. Everyone seemed to be so kind and caring and I know my pets were in the best hands. They seem to have genuine empathy when things are not good. Thank you to all concerned.

This vet hospital is superb. My dog is currently in and out but they saved her life when she went into renal failure back in October. The vets are professional and take the time to talk everything through in detail. The facilities are state of the art and I felt comfort knowing whilst my dog was in ICU she had the best possible care. It's a journey for me to get to but I wouldn't take her anywhere else. When it came to payment reception were really helpful and insurance claims were dealt with quickly. Highly recommend.

My 9 week old kitten was send here by the PDSA for emergency out of hours treatment after she completely broke her leg. The way the staff dealt with the situation and treated her was incredible, they were so so caring, supportive and also informative about what had happened to her, and what could possibly be done to help her. We arrived again this morning to collect her and she looked significantly happier and content without any pain. Genuinely couldn’t be happier with her care.

We cannot thank the staff at Blaise Veterinary Hospital enough for their kindness and compassion during such a difficult time. Our beloved guinea pig Chewie passed away at home today (a Saturday), and with our local vets closed, we were struggling to find help. Our other local clinics wouldn’t take him, but from the moment we called, Blaise was amazing. The staff on the phone were incredibly kind and empathetic, making it seem like it was no trouble at all for us to bring him in. When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly and offered a drink before being taken into a private room by the vet. Her bedside manner was exceptional - she checked him over gently and was so reassuring. She also took his paw and snout prints for us, which was a lovely, thoughtful gesture, and explained the cremation options with great care. On our way out, the reception staff expressed their condolences with such sincerity. In a heartbreaking time, the team made us feel supported and cared for. It was a truly heartfelt experience, and we are so grateful to them for going above and beyond. Thank you for everything.
