Mimram vets are one of the best vets around! I have been with them for well over 15 years and the care they give is amazing. My cat Kasper has quite a few issues and has to go to the vets regularly and he is always looked after exceptionally. All the staff are super friendly and I feel that the welfare of the animals they look after are there main priority. Thank you for all you do for all the fur baby’s 🐾

Another fabulous visit yesterday. All the vets I’ve seen at the practice are so caring and supportive. Reception staff are always warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. I cannot recommend Mimram Veterinary Practice highly enough!

Hi I've been with this vets for over 15 years. Every time I've been for what ever reason from puppy vaccinations to saying goodbye to our fur babies I've never had a bad visit. Everyone makes you feel that your pet matters. They have taken care of all my pets from my cats, rabbits and my dogs. Had to say goodbye to my old boy but will be taking my new puppy there soon. Thanks for all being amazing.

When my beautiful cat was hit by a car and taken into Mimram vets she received excellent care. Every member of staff went out of their way to be kind and supportive both in person and over the phone for which I am truly grateful.

Very very good independent vets. Really looked after our dog, we were with another vets locally which we were very unhappy with. A surgery was over 30% cheaper here and the expertise is far far higher. First class

This practice is professional and caring with fair prices compared to other veterinary practices in Hatfield. I prefer this practice as a result. Moreover, my best little furry friend and I have been with The Village Veterinary Surgery since our return to the UK in the summer of 2022 and have been met with kindness and respect. My dog's vet is Lisa who is brilliant because her knowledge is excellent, her sweet and gentle way of being with my little dog is perfect, and her advice just great. I feel grateful to be a client of such a well run and caring, professional veterinary practice. I have also visited their practice in St Albans (last summer) which is equally impressive. I had to put my poor cat down here a few weeks ago. It was really traumatic and heartbreaking, but everyone here was so nice. I just wanted to say thank you so so much, for being so lovely and supportive. That was a really horrible day for me and you were all so nice. The two ladies (Sorry I don't remember any names from that day) who were in the room when it happened, were just so amazing. Also, Judith, who helped with the insurance claim. Both my pets (cat and a dog) go here, and is the only vets I've taken them to where they don't freak out, both are always very calm going and when in there. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

we've been to many vets in the past and Barton is by far the best. pedro and the nurses take lots of time and care of my 16yr old doggo to make sure she feels safe and never treats her as an object in a factory line. we will never go anywhere else - thank you!

First class service, we have had the best for our animals everytime, they gave us the best help and advice with support for our beautiful German Shepherd Shyla all through her terminal illness to the very end..... Great veterinary practice! They took in an injured wild hedgehog today, from a member of the public. The hedgehog had a broken hind leg, flystrike, was cold and dehydrated. They removed the flyeggs, warmed and gave her an xray. She's now been passed to us for rehabilitation (her leg will need splinting) and they have offered to do follow up xrays for her. This is a good veterinary practice who cares about wildlife, whilst sadly many vet practices would have just had her put to sleep. - London Colney Hedgehog Rescue

I am delighted with the service received from minute one. For someone who's new to the Vet's world, I couldn't ask for a more personalised and humane attention. I had so many doubts when we brought our 8-week kitten home that I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Gus exceeded my expectations explaining everything I needed to know and beyond. Rachel was also fantastic before and after my visit. Seeing how professional the team is puts my mind at ease. I also chose the health care plan because it's great value for money. Found it a no-brainer. Overall, really satisfied and would recommend 100%. Keep it up!

A massive thank you to Taymar, I felt reassured leaving my little friend with her after he passed away. She made sure my wishes were fulfilled and I received even more little touches which was a lovely surprise and so heart warming 🫶🏼 the receptionist, a young lady with light hair, was so compassionate when I came to collect the ashes. Couldn’t recommend them enough 💓

My cat Albus was very poorly & Village Vet worked tirelessly to diagnose & treat him. He was in their hospital all weekend & the vets (Jennifer D & Anna) kept me informed of his condition throughout the weekend, and they were compassionate & kind to me (as a very distressed pet owner!) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this vet surgery

Outstanding care received today for our beagle Rosie from Ella. She was absolutely brilliant with her and listened to all our concerns and worked through them methodically. She handled Rosie with kindness and compassion but also knew when it was time to get the job done. Thank you Ella for your expertise and for also making the experience warm and heartfelt. I cannot recommend highly enough. This team is exceptional in the way they deal with customers and more importantly their pets. I have my three Labs cared for by Chris and his team. He has carried out 2 essential ops on my young Labrador and to the highest standards. I joined after a very bad experience from my previous vet and the quality of care I now get is fantastic.

Cannot recommend Chris, Alex and Charlie highly enough. Totally dedicated and so caring. This team actually care about your animal and not your money as we have found over the years, only doing what is best for your pet. This vet practice has gone above and beyond for us and our beloved dog, they've been really helpful throughout the whole process, reassuring us when we were very stressed. All the nurses, vet and receptionists have been so lovely and helpful, helping us understanding what is going on and always putting our minds at ease when we had questions and concerns. Amazing communication with us throughout it all, and even with the ongoing vet appointments, explaining everything really well when we struggled to understand what was happening. I can't thank you all enough for everything you have done, Pepper absolutely adores all of you and always goes in happy and tail wagging and it's so reassuring after having bad experiences elsewhere. 🩷

I have been with this vets for over 30 years. As you can imagine I’ve had a number of dogs. I recently got a new puppy, after the death of my springer. I have never considered moving vets. All the staff are friendly, supportive and professional. I can honestly say, I would 100% recommend them.

Lovely experience, the staff were so helpful and informative. I bought a fish tank and 2 fish for my daughters birthday, I'm a very happy customer. I was served by a lovely lady called Ally, who gave me all the support and advice I needed to get the most for my money and the best gift. I would definitely recommend them as they had lots of gift ideas in store.

I took my dog to this practice over the Christmas period, after him being very unwell for 3 days & nights. My registered Vets4Pets practice in Luton couldn't care less, had no emergency appointments to offer us and gave me no advice whatsoever. Thankfully St Albans fitted us in the same day and I'm so grateful they did. The staff are empathetic and compassionate, provide professional and well explained advice, and ensure follow up appointments to ensure your pets health improves. Brought my cat in this weekend and was really impressed with how quickly they were able to see her. The staff are all wonderful—super friendly, caring, and professional. The vet who saw her was very gentle and empathetic about the pain she was in. I really appreciated the help—such lovely service! :)

My female westhighland white terrier became ill on a Sunday so we took her to Bartin Lodge where Vets Now cover emergencies..We are so glad they did as my 8 year old had an infection in her uterus and distended flopian tubes..The on duty vet said she needed surgery there and then...She was in over night and I can report that 3 days later she was really good and recovered well..so thank you much..all the staff were excellent.. and the cost was not as high as expected..

We were able to go immediately for an out of hours appointment on a Sunday. The consultation was thorough and the vet recognised that our dog Kobe was quite nervous so he took things slowly and gently. Expensive but understand that was probably because it was out of hours. Kobe is recovering now and hopefully he’ll be back to himself soon.
