These people really care for your pet! It’s a simple as that! My dog is so nervous and hates anyone examining her to the point one vet elsewhere said they would have to sedate her to examine her anyway…. She has allowed all the ladies here to examine her mouth, shave her, take blood and give her 4 separate injection…. Animals do sense when people care! Happy to say my little Tina is on the mend and at the ripe age of 14 we thought that she wouldn’t come out of this with a happy ending so thank you! I will add these do not charge the earth in fact I thought I was under charged until I saw the break down bill! Just amazing all round! 🐶

Exceptional service, very helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help me. I was struggling with a pram and a cat carrier from the car and the staff member helped me carry my cat to and from the car. The care for my cat (Mao) was second to none and it is apparent that all the staff and vets are passionate and care for the pets that come in. Everything went smoothly and treatment for my cats injury was excellent. I rang for an appointment and was offered same day. Thanks

Attended Valley Vet Care and as usual the staff are friendly and always professional. The consultation is never rushed and was given plenty of advice on my pets needs. Just feels like one big family, would highly recommend their practice. Thanks Valley team!

Absolutely amazing practice! Always thought they were great but realised more so since having a dog who is anxious at vet visits. Every member of staff from receptionists to vet nurses through to the vets are so reassuring and kind. Valley vet care have been amazing with both my dogs! My oldest dog has been coming to valley vet care since I got him almost 11 years ago. The vets are amazing with them both and when Bruno was unwell as a pup they help us get him back to the prefect crazy pup he is!! Receptionist are wonderful and always remember Buddy as soon as I mention his name or bring him in! Thank you all so much!

Following a long history of using Jackson and Nuttall's services in Middleton, we transitioned to Valentines when they acquired the practice. Our appointment at Valentines Castleton was scheduled at a time convenient for us. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and fresh atmosphere. The staff were all delightful and professional. Alfie enjoyed his appointment; I don't believe he even noticed the injection.

We have been coming to Valentines Vets for nearly 3 years with our cats Duck and Toast. The vets are always lovely and gentle with our cats, whichever vet we see. All of the staff are friendly too and the waiting room is bright and has a cats only area. Would recommend to all pet owners :)

I honestly can’t imagine there’s a better vets out there. The whole team at Castleton have been out of this world. Most of the time a vets is ‘just a vets’ but when it counts and your fur baby needs help these guys go wayyyy above and beyond. I was unfortunately in a position where my dog was chronically unwell. They worked around the clock to think of solutions and make sure she was getting the help she needed. The best part though is how at ease my dog always was and still is going here, the amount of love and care this whole team put into her was outstanding, I felt at ease leaving her in there care knowing they would do their absolute best. They made me feel supported, no question was a silly one and they explained things in a way I understood. I can tell from the numerous times I’ve been here that the whole team love their job and that shines through. I can’t thank this vets enough for how they treated myself and my lovely Ember. We’ve still got a bit of a road left to travel to get her to full health but I wouldn’t ever consider going anywhere else. I highly recommend this vets. When it counts, they really do go above and beyond in every way and I trust them wholeheartedly!

We’ve just brought in our senior cat, Tigga, and had an excellent experience. The Vet was lovely and has Tig’s best interests at heart, she also explained different options and the treatment process (Very helpful because I’m autistic). The receptionists were lovely too and got me registered and with an appointment 🐈 Thank you so much. Hugely recommend.

Swapped to this vets with my dog over 5 years ago and so glad we did. Being an elderly dog we've had a few health concerns over the years. The staff have always been great, getting her in quickly when needed and being patient with her. They were always upfront and honest and didn't make her go through any unnecessary treatment. Unfortunately we had say goodbye to her recently, again the vet who we saw and the staff were fantastic. Even though it was booked as a routine appointment they didn't rush us and gave us all the time we needed to make a decision and say goodbye.

Absolute lifesavers! We rushed our little Milo to the clinic, worried he had a break or fracture. The team was so kind and told us to come straight in. Thankfully, it turned out to be just a bad sprain, and they had him patched up and comfortable in no time. The care and attention they gave Milo was incredible, and to top it off, it was affordable! We couldn’t be more grateful for their quick and gentle service. Highly recommended! 10/10 thank you so much everyone that helped :))

I cannot recommend this vets enough. Since getting Humphrey as a pup as a first time dog owner and our pretty regular visits 🙈, the whole team including at the reception and pharmacy have been nothing but helpful, caring, loving and understanding in whatever circumstances or situations were there for this time🤣🥲The online chat feature is brilliant as I was able to send photos of issues enabling an appointment quick time and seen within a couple of hours. Its the only vets I've heard of amongst friends that don't charge per appointment which has saved me a fortune!! Nothing is too much trouble, we love the team there and how amazing they are with him 🫶🏻

I can't recommend Animal Trust Failsworth enough! It felt perfect from the start. The receptionist was very friendly and totally calmed me down. Tasha, the nurse who saw Penny, was amazing, so caring and professional; you could tell she loved animals. She made sure Penny was comfortable and well cared for. What I love is that it's a non-profit that truly prioritises the animals first. The care is awesome, the prices are fair, and the staff go above and beyond. They're honest and upfront, making sure the pets get exactly what they need without pushing extra stuff. The service from everyone was top-notch. I'm thrilled with how Penny was treated, and we'll totally be back. If you want a vets that genuinely cares, this is the place!

Staff always very friendly and ask how visit went and if everything OK. They talked to my dog and asked if they could give him a treat. Alway helpful and kind. I previously had 2 dogs that had to be put to sleep, they were so considerate.

I got charged £85 for ear drops and 11 tablets I found the ear drops on Amozon for £16 and the tablets on vets 24/7 for £10.56 with a prescription from the vet talk about being ripped of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I’ve been with Regans Vets for 15yrs and found everyone of the vets caring and professional but most importantly very engaging with pets and owners. Everyone complains about vet fees but when you think about years of training and dedication in the field of vets and animal health it’s understandable but you do have options to use other vets and go online with prescriptions. I owe my vets especially Chelsea and Dermot from the Avenue vets for there care and compassion my pets and ourself have received. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Our beautiful 10 year old german shepherd passed away Monday night. She had been under the care of here since being a puppy. In 2018 we found out she had a condition that would be life long. We were supported the whole way through this. She was an anxious dog that had nervous aggression and the vets were always accommodating, they went out of their way to make sure we could do what was best for our dog. Special mention to Dermot for all his help over the years and to Chelsea who was involved in the last months of tess’s life. You treated her with such compassion and always put her well being first. We received a card this afternoon from Chelsea and the team who sent their condolences. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. This is really hard for us. She meant everything to us but I can say I know she got the best care and her well being was always top priority. Love Becky and lee faulkner

Our gorgeous girl Pacha was horrendously attacked by another dog last Sunday and was at pet medics for 4 nights - which included a operation and 24 hour care , I cannot thank pet medics enough and I am so happy we went here as I had constant reassurance, the clinic was very clean, the staff loved her and everyone was so informative to all the questions I had. Special thankyou to Ruth & Ben the brilliant vets, Chloe on reception who I spoke to most of the time and always reassured me & Andrew most of all who made me feel so at ease and performed her surgery! I am so great full for you all, Jenna, Jack & baby Pacha 💗

PetMedics have been amazing ever since our cat had been referred for her skin issues and allergies. The staff are so lovely and really do care. Pixie is now on allergy medication but is still under review for steroids but her skin and her quality of life has improved so much already and we have her lovely vet Silvana to thank for this.🩷 You are amazing thanks for all your hard work x

My sausage dog has been here twice, once with a sprained paw & sadly being run over on Christmas Day night. When we arrived on Christmas Day night, we ran in with our dog & the vet seen him straight away. Couldn’t of asked for a nicer vet & the reception staff. The reception staff were amazing and made us feel so much better. One reception lady even got the first aid kit to help my brother with his cut hands after the accident. Thanks to Pet Medics my dog was fine and sent him home with medication which he is now better. Thank you for amazing service from the vet & lovely reception lady’s on Christmas Day Night 💕 it was the last thing we expected but they made us feel so much better. 🙏✨

my cat passed away and was brought to pet medics by a member of the public, when i arrived to see if it was my cat all the staff were lovely, kind, and considerate. they took the time to make sure it was my cat, and talked me through different options i had with what i wanted to do next with him, at no point did i feel unsure about what i had to do, and every member of staff was really kind to him and looked after him as if he was one of their own cats. they gave me as much time as i needed with him in their farewell room and didn’t pressure me to leave and let me have as much time as possible. A few days later they sent me a condolence card with my cats paw prints inside which i appreciate so much. also saw members of staff interacting with other customers and answering any questions they had regarding their own pets, the place had a nice atmosphere and didn’t feel like some other vets do. thank you again to all the staff at pet medics.

We brought our moggy Kimi in on Monday, for what we knew was to be a final visit. She was 20.5 years old and had been on a downward path in the recent years / months. The last few weeks were looking bleaker and over the weekend she deteriorated very quickly until she didn’t want to do anything and seemed to be in pain. On arrival we were looked after by Pola and Katie who realised the situation very quickly and were so kind and considerate to us. They said they would organise a canular to be inserted so they could administer the required injection, but Kimi passed away before they could. I guess the upheaval of the ‘trip to the vets’ (which she always hated, in her youth) and everything was just to much and she couldn’t hang on any longer. We were given some ‘clippings’ of Kimi’s fur etc in a little glass vile, to keep as a remembrance and we said we wanted to take her home to be buried in our garden, along with her mum and son. My wife went to the desk to pay for the visit, but was told there would be no charge. Although this is not a ‘money thing’ we found this to be over and above what we might expect and a lovely gesture. We left with Kimi wrapped in a towel and were finally given a condolence card, signed ‘all our love, Yew Tree Vets’, which again was such a nice thing for you to have done. We have used your surgery for all 3 of our cats over a number of years and have always been very happy with the service we have received, but yesterday’s visit left us feeling so heart warmed that you all can care so much for pets and owners alike. Thanks for all your efforts over the years.

I am so pleased with every part of service and care from Yew Tree Vets. Having only ever been in and out for immunisations in the past, i have just endured frequent visits over the past 9 weeks receiving treatment for an ocular tear with my dog Louie. Me and louie received excellent care and advice. They were also lenient and supportive when i was worried about deterioration finding me a same day appointment and were very empathetic. My vets had suggested I take our pet cat whiskers to the emergency vets, we rang up and got told to come here as soon as we could and no appointment was needed. They kept us well informed with how whiskers was doing and unfortunately we had to put her down. They gave us plenty of time in the family room with her and let us know our options and what to do next. The vet that delt with us was very kind, understanding and helpful. I have just gotten home to a card from them aswell which is so thoughtful and means a lot to me and my daughter.

My puppy was hit in his eye area during play. I called this place for an emergency appointment because they were listed as my regular vet's preferred partner for emergencies. In 5 minutes I was registered and given directions. When I arrived, the receptionist was attentive and was clearly expecting me. I didn't have to wait longer than 10 minutes before I was seen by Angelika and her team, who were very welcoming and attentive. Judging by my puppy's reaction he clearly took a liking to her! It was a pleasant surprise that I was charged significantly less than the amount that was quoted on the phone, but that might be because I went during "day hours".

Had to call psda Manchester to find an emergency vet for my boy Casper (17 y/o pomeranian cross chihuahua), this is where i took him, unfortunately he wasl too poorly to be saved and i had to make the decision to have him put to sleep, this was Tuesday 8/8/23 at about 2am. the vets were very caring, friendly, compassionate and proffesional. Gave me time with him and explained what they were doing while putting him to rest, before checking his heart and confirming he had passed, he went very quickly and peacefully, i am glad i asked for a sedative for him before hand, then we were able to spend a little time with him after before he was collected. I was comforted when i received his paw prints in a lovely card and a little of his fur with some forget me nott seeds! (I did request the paw prints and fur) My only shock was the cost of the traditional casket at £260!, but its a decision you have you have to make at that moment. My last little dog of the same breed, her casket was about £90 for the same little box. in peace baby boy. Thankyou to the staff who helped me and my lad.

We had to take our cat for an emergency appointment and this place was suggested on our vet's website, since this place was open after hours, Sundays and Bank Holidays. We rang up and got told to come here as soon as we could, no appointment needed. The facilities were good. A really great idea in dividing the waiting areas for dogs and cats, so less disruption. The cat waiting area even offered blankets to cover baskets if we had a nervous cat, lovely touch. Unfortunately we had to have our cat put to sleep, but the vet that we had informed us of our options, respectful to us and our cat, and the process. He really helped us through it all and what to do next. The reception staff were all friendly, attentive and helpful.
