We moved to the area around a year ago, and had to find a vet urgently as our dog had some sort of seizure. They got us in and registered quickly and we've been with Hellen since. Last week our dog had to be put down due to old age and complications. Hellen arranged it all with amazing compassion. This was done with the utmost respect to our dog and to us. I highly recommend this vets, and especially Hellen. The reception team has always been helpful and the whole experience with them has been really good.

Usually friendly, kind staff. Bit of a pain to get upstairs, there is a lift but it's a daunting one so I don't use it. Waiting room is quite small so it's a worry if another dog is there as mine is reactive, especially as the groomers is also up there. It does feel quite nice and open though. The owner is very nice.

Been going here for quite a while now and have already left a review previously. Cannot fault them. The vets (in particular, Helen, who is exceptional), nurses and reception staff are a true credit to the practice. Thank you for your ongoing care for Millie.

I come here with my assistance dog Hugo. I feel like the team here can't do enough for me. I'm a 41yr old male military veteran (apparently we need to show this info for context). The staff I've met are beyond lovely and very approachable. I can't see how a nice person couldn't get nice responses from these wonderful people.

Today was our first time visiting Buchanans Urmston with our 12year old Husky, who suffers from arthritis. Gaby the vet was fantastic with Nyla, the consultation wasn’t rushed and Gaby explained all the options available for Nyla. You can tell they really care for the animals here. First visit since I registered my cats after using another vets for many years. Easy to book in, plenty of options for people that work Unlike my previous vets. All staff were welcoming & friendly. Love the fact they have a separate waiting area for customers with cats 😀 Vet was easy to communicate with, efficient & informative. Very happy I have moved here.

Called into the vets with my dog very worried I was welcomed with a smile. Didnt wait long and was brought through by the vet who straight away made me feel at ease and loose my fear. She handled my baby with care and treated her and fingers crossed it’s like a miracle has happened. Thank you so much highly recommend fantastic vets.

So me and my Wife recently got ourselves a kitten as my Wife is a Support worker and one of the ladies she was Supporting moved out and left kitten behind so we took her in. So we registered with Beech House vets and booked our kitten in for her jabs and to get her checked over, So I arrived half an hour early and so sat in the waiting room. Several minutes later I went, The vet was absolutely fantastic gave our kitten a full health check, weighed her and then gave her the first injection and had set up the next appointment in 4 weeks. Extremely professional, polite and friendly staff, The vets was extremely clean as you would expect, Vets can be expensive but I paid into a Kitten club where for £19.99 a month you get a health check up, first vaccination, second vaccination, microchipped and neutered. Honesty can praise Beech house vets enough we highly recommend Beech house vets. We brought our moggy Kimi in on Monday, for what we knew was to be a final visit. She was 20.5 years old and had been on a downward path in the recent years / months. The last few weeks were looking bleaker and over the weekend she deteriorated very quickly until she didn’t want to do anything and seemed to be in pain. On arrival we were looked after by Pola and Katie who realised the situation very quickly and were so kind and considerate to us. They said they would organise a canular to be inserted so they could administer the required injection, but Kimi passed away before they could. I guess the upheaval of the ‘trip to the vets’ (which she always hated, in her youth) and everything was just to much and she couldn’t hang on any longer. We were given some ‘clippings’ of Kimi’s fur etc in a little glass vile, to keep as a remembrance and we said we wanted to take her home to be buried in our garden, along with her mum and son. My wife went to the desk to pay for the visit, but was told there would be no charge. Although this is not a ‘money thing’ we found this to be over and above what we might expect and a lovely gesture. We left with Kimi wrapped in a towel and were finally given a condolence card, signed ‘all our love, Yew Tree Vets’, which again was such a nice thing for you to have done. We have used your surgery for all 3 of our cats over a number of years and have always been very happy with the service we have received, but yesterday’s visit left us feeling so heart warmed that you all can care so much for pets and owners alike. Thanks for all your efforts over the years.

The vets here are caring and knowledgeable, they always treat my pets as if they are their own. The staff are so friendly and easy to interact with. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Staff were lovely, vet was kind and helpful, price was reasonable; can't ask for more. Best of all my poor cat who had fleas is on the mend, only a few days after taking the pill and cleansing the flat. Can't be happier!

My first cat had to be taken here. Cj when I went into hospital... Am not able to look after her am so sorry. Thay are putting her up for adoption, I could of got her back but am not able to look after cj. She can play out 🐱😁 when she gets a new home and thay have given her her first needles. Thank you.

I got charged £85 for ear drops and 11 tablets I found the ear drops on Amozon for £16 and the tablets on vets 24/7 for £10.56 with a prescription from the vet talk about being ripped of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Our beautiful 10 year old german shepherd passed away Monday night. She had been under the care of here since being a puppy. In 2018 we found out she had a condition that would be life long. We were supported the whole way through this. She was an anxious dog that had nervous aggression and the vets were always accommodating, they went out of their way to make sure we could do what was best for our dog. Special mention to Dermot for all his help over the years and to Chelsea who was involved in the last months of tess’s life. You treated her with such compassion and always put her well being first. We received a card this afternoon from Chelsea and the team who sent their condolences. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. This is really hard for us. She meant everything to us but I can say I know she got the best care and her well being was always top priority. Love Becky and lee faulkner

My spaniel had to be admitted for a couple of days as he had just been diagnosed with diabetes and was very poorly. All the staff were very professional and I was kept upto date with the situation very well. At discharge, the nurse spent time talking us through everything and teaching us how to administer injections. I cannot thank all the staff enough for the care they gave to Woody. He is now in a much better place than when he was admitted. Here he is with his sister keeping an eye on his progress 🐾🐾

Our gorgeous girl Pacha was horrendously attacked by another dog last Sunday and was at pet medics for 4 nights - which included a operation and 24 hour care , I cannot thank pet medics enough and I am so happy we went here as I had constant reassurance, the clinic was very clean, the staff loved her and everyone was so informative to all the questions I had. Special thankyou to Ruth & Ben the brilliant vets, Chloe on reception who I spoke to most of the time and always reassured me & Andrew most of all who made me feel so at ease and performed her surgery! My sausage dog has been here twice, once with a sprained paw & sadly being run over on Christmas Day night. When we arrived on Christmas Day night, we ran in with our dog & the vet seen him straight away. Couldn’t of asked for a nicer vet & the reception staff. The reception staff were amazing and made us feel so much better. One reception lady even got the first aid kit to help my brother with his cut hands after the accident. Thanks to Pet Medics my dog was fine and sent him home with medication which he is now better. Thank you for amazing service from the vet & lovely reception lady’s on Christmas Day Night 💕 it was the last thing we expected but they made us feel so much better. 🙏✨

my cat passed away and was brought to pet medics by a member of the public, when i arrived to see if it was my cat all the staff were lovely, kind, and considerate. they took the time to make sure it was my cat, and talked me through different options i had with what i wanted to do next with him, at no point did i feel unsure about what i had to do, and every member of staff was really kind to him and looked after him as if he was one of their own cats. they gave me as much time as i needed with him in their farewell room and didn’t pressure me to leave and let me have as much time as possible. A few days later they sent me a condolence card with my cats paw prints inside which i appreciate so much. also saw members of staff interacting with other customers and answering any questions they had regarding their own pets, the place had a nice atmosphere and didn’t feel like some other vets do. thank you again to all the staff at pet medics.

My dog goes here every time he needs injections or health check staff are welcoming not very long waits and have selection of health care products you can buy in reception for cat and dog. The vets here are also very good and explain thing in a way that you can understand overall got to be one of the best vets in manchester

Amazing and caring! I recommend this vets highly!! Really took care of my little man and didn’t rush like other vets do. Fees are more than competitive, and service and care is first class.
