We had a really great experience with Carl and his team when they repaired our flat roof. He responded to our initial message really quickly, he was conscientious, friendly and explained exactly what needed doing in a way we could understand! The repair itself was brilliant and the team were very thoughtful in how they worked, e.g. being really careful with all the equipment they needed to bring through the house, very clean and tidy. Having used Dean and his team at SRS Ltd before to install a sun tunnel on our first floor landing about 5 years ago, I had no hesitation in asking him to quote for a Velux window in the pitched roof over our ground floor kitchen. His price looked very fair and he and Alex installed it in 3 days in late January, with the plasterer Josh adding only another 5 hours. They were all very efficient and tidy (putting in a temporary floor covering and dust sheets and a temporary door sheet) and have done a high quality job. Dean was even happy to accommodate another trade, which I had doing some unrelated plumbing work one day in the middle of his installation. We're really pleased with the result and it's letting in loads of natural light and has made our kitchen look much more inviting. I'd recommend Dean and his Team to anyone - thank you. Note that the photos were taken before re-painting the ceiling.

I really cannot recommend Dean and the team highly enough. Dean originally came to give us a quote to install Velux windows in a bedroom and the kitchen. These were installed quickly and efficiently and the rooms were left clean and clear at the end of the day. Over and above the original work, Dean also sorted out a condensation issue in the kitchen and fixed a leaking flat roof! The workmanship was excellent, done to time and with a reasonable budget. Dean is clearly very knowledgeable in this area. He kept us informed all the way through about the issues and what he could do to help the situation and gave us options. Dean and the team worked tirelessly throughout. Overall, we are very pleased to have found a roofer we can really trust!

Great job by Dean and his guys to completely replace tiles, felt and flashing and some expert pointing. Quick, neat, tidy, great communication and the kind of re-assuring politeness and friendliness you want when people are in your house, especially as it is my elderly Mum’s house. The scaffolding company he employs were also top-notch: courteous and neat. Dean & Co. were appreciative of refreshments and we were particularly happy with the attention to detail, including cleaning up the site under the scaffolding every day, and at the end of the job, and cleaning velux windows inside and out once finished.

Over the years I have used numerous contractors for large and small works and its not often that one comes across a company that one trusts. But Salmon Solutions is. My roofing works were out of most contractors comfort zone but I was assured by Salmon Solutions they would make me happy. The world of Zinc roofs can be a daunting prospect for anyone new to it like I was. So if you are considering a zinc roof I would just like to say - "do it" they are the best for the weather conditions in the UK - no more moss ridden tiles and they look the absolute business. The second worry I had at the outset was "installing a zinc roof is a specialist skill so i don't want to go with the wrong company" - Salmon Solutions were utterly superb from the communication and engagement throughout my job to the quality of the workmanship. Salmon Solutions are also an accredited installer for my chosen VMZinc roofing system. My new zinc roof looks stunning and it makes me happy every time I look at it. We recently used the services of Salmon Solutions to supply and fit both Single Ply and Standing Seam roof coverings on a New Build project of Five houses in Enfield, North London. With various details including vertical and sloping sections, Flat and Pitched Dormer roofs and Parapet walls there were many elements that needed careful thought. Needed to repair leaking roof on lean-to outhouse which also required a wall to be rebuilt due to frost damage on brickwork and a need to widen external door for wheelchair access with new lintel tied into house wall. Most other roofers we're comfortable with the extent of brickwork required whereas general builders wanted to knock it all down and start again at considerable cost. Paul could see the roof structure was sound and also offers bricklaying services so provided the ideal mix of skills at a good price. All completed in quick order with new Firestone rubber covering on new OSB using existing timber frame tied into rebuilt and considerably more solid wall with Paul spending time to find the same brick of the original 1950's structure. Very happy with result. So impressed have asked Paul to do some other works (Patio). Very much recommend.

Paul and Greg removed a chimney, repointed an existing chimney and carried out urgent guttering work. They were extremely professional. Ryan did a fantastic job tilling the roof on a new build project I’ve been doing. Fairly large with lots of detail, he fitted 8 Velux windows and a Velux Cabrio balcony window.
