Excellent repair work done by Stu on our flat roof and main roof. He photographed everything and when quoting Stu talked me through the problem and how to repair it with photos too which was so helpful to understand what was going on. He even popped back to replace a cracked tile at no extra charge.

Had an issue with the guttering and a leak after all the heavy rain recently. Stuart came round same day I called to have a look at the job and then proceeded to come back the next day to carry out the job. Such great service, amazing job done and a really lovely guy to boot. I needed to speak to a roofer in the area as I needed advice regarding my house roof. I checked Google and found Clayridge Roofing. I called and spoke to Stu, even though he was busy working he took the time and patience to explain and advise me. He went to see my roof the following day and reported back immediately. Each time I've spoken to him, no matter how busy he is, he still takes the time to help and explain. He gives an honest opinion, very reasonable charges and would not carry out any work unless needed. I would definitely use him to carry out any work needed and I would also recommend him. Stuart was immediately helpful on the phone and managed to get a call back from him on time to arrange a date to check a roof leak. He immediately got straight to the point and said the cause for it and what needs to be done. Gave a very good and cheap price at the start. Even managed to show us his work and how he is going to do it. Even though my parents spoke little english, he was still friendly and chatty with them. Would definitely recommend him for anyone that needs any doing on the roof.

Stuart replied to my enquiry quickly and came to look at replacing a leaking flat roof on my shower room. He e-mailed me a quotation the same day with a good price and started the work soon after. He and his helper were efficient, professional and helpful. They completed the work in the agreed timescale with a small reasonable charge for replacing unexpected rotten joints. Carl and team were polite, gracious, helpful and determined to fix our leak. Carl in particular was generous and tenacious in his endeavours to resolve a problem which was not as simple as it first seemed. We asked a few roofers to quote to redo a flat roof, some gable wall cementing and some flashing. I am pleased that we chose Carl and his team at Surrey Roofing Specialists. When Carl was assessing the problem, he suggested various alternatives rather than selecting the most expensive. He was very amenable and reactive and hence I decided to give the contract to him. Carl and team were extremely professional and just so easy to deal with - it makes such a difference when you trade with such teams. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Work was finished on time, to a high standard, clean and with very minimal disruption. I then asked for Carl and team to look at the bay window roofs, and he was back the next couple of days to complete them. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends.

Carl is courteous and professional. His men turned up, did the job fast and left no mess. There was an issue after with my hatch not shutting, which one of his men kindly tried to address even though not a carpenter. Alas not successful. Carl was totally accountable and professional, sending a proper carpenter to sort asap. All good! I highly recommend him, and star his service 10/10 as a result of this.

Great job by Dean and his guys to completely replace tiles, felt and flashing and some expert pointing. Quick, neat, tidy, great communication and the kind of re-assuring politeness and friendliness you want when people are in your house, especially as it is my elderly Mum’s house. The scaffolding company he employs were also top-notch: courteous and neat. Dean & Co. were appreciative of refreshments and we were particularly happy with the attention to detail, including cleaning up the site under the scaffolding every day, and at the end of the job, and cleaning velux windows inside and out once finished.

I really cannot recommend Dean and the team highly enough. Dean originally came to give us a quote to install Velux windows in a bedroom and the kitchen. These were installed quickly and efficiently and the rooms were left clean and clear at the end of the day. Over and above the original work, Dean also sorted out a condensation issue in the kitchen and fixed a leaking flat roof! The workmanship was excellent, done to time and with a reasonable budget. Dean is clearly very knowledgeable in this area. He kept us informed all the way through about the issues and what he could do to help the situation and gave us options. Dean and the team worked tirelessly throughout. Overall, we are very pleased to have found a roofer we can really trust!

Great care and attention were given to this project from start to finish. Replacing the non-standard skylights presented several challenges. Dean consistently opted for a higher quality, perfectionist approach rather than taking easier shortcuts. He and his team clearly have extensive experience with various roof constructions and are adept in both interior and exterior work. The result is a set of skylights that are securely fitted and look fantastic. The seamless integration with the original upstands is truly impressive.

We Used Surrey Roofing services to remove a build up of moss on the roof and to remove a nest under the solar panels. They were friendly and professional, they worked hard and left the roof in excellent condition and the surrounding paths and garden spotless. This work was done by hand using ladders with no need for scaffolding. We wanted the roof to keep a "lived in look" and not to appear brand new. I would thoroughly recommend the company."

Nicky was very helpful and efficient in looking at and sorting out a leak in my parents-in-laws house and also has excellent customer service skills. We asked him to carry out other work to resolve gutter problems on both our house and our parents-in-law's house, plus some roofing repair. Nicky and Luke did an excellent job, worked hard and quickly but also ensuring the work was carried out to a high standard and that everything was tidy after they'd finished. We needed a new roof on our house and we spent a good view weeks looking at different companies and getting different quotes. Second time I've used Phipps roofing and the standard remains high. Called me back when he missed my initial call, which traders never usually do, and called at my house 20 minutes later to provide a quote. Very impressed with the attitude to customer service and the work was equally as good. This was the first time I had used Phipps Roofing, I just looked on google maps for a local roofing company. You never quite know what you'll get, but, they were brilliant! Professional, genuine, friendly, modern and experienced. We had already installed an extractor fan in our bathroom, it needed to go up into the loft and out through the tiles above. They have a 'can do' approach and sent one of the team over that week. I had a tile outlet kit already, but they advised me it was for a different type of tile, without fuss they organised the correct one for the job and brought it with them. From outside it blends into the other tiles so well, you can't really see it. Perfect. It's good to know, there are still great companies out there who pride themselves in their work and customer service at a good price. I would recommend them without hesitation.
