I was so grateful to have Sam & his team help us replace two Velux windows in our loft bedroom. These windows had been leaking for the past year whenever it was windy and rainy. Initially, the plan was just to replace the flashing, but Sam discovered that the wooden frames of the old windows were actually rotten. Not only did he secure great discounts on new windows and flashing for us, but he also identified rotten wooden battens underneath the tiles. He went above and beyond by replacing the damaged battens as well as some broken tiles, all at no additional cost to us. The work was completed swiftly and professionally. We sincerely thank Sam and his team for their outstanding service!

Excellent service and quality of work. Attentive, friendly and diligent professional. Our roof was leaking, he knew exactly what was wrong by looking at the old roof (previous fibre glass workmanship was sub standard hence roof began to leak). They came around promptly, started and completed until all was done. He listened to what we wanted (take old roof off and start again) and carried out the job. Other roofers just wanted to go on the top, which was just putting a plaster on the problem. Good thing too, as it was rotting! Would definitely recommend. Give them a call and find out for yourself. Adam and his team were fantastic. They replaced two flat roofs for us that were cracked and leaking, and fixed any other issues they found like the rotten ply wood under, some broken tiles and guttering brackets. Adam is very honest and kind, it’s a pleasure to work with a trustworthy trade. He was able to schedule us quickly knowing we had an active leak. They provided videos at the start and end to show the works and left the site clean and tidy. Alltype roofing done a fantastic job on my roof repairs. I had originally had a quote from another company who said I needed a new roof and charged me £200 to clean my guttering. Asked Alltype to give me a quote and they come over the next day and advised me my roof was fine, I just needed some drip trays fitted. They also said my guttering needed cleaning as they hadn't been done in s while. I explained these were done a couple of months ago. Pete the roofer went up with an empty bucket and cleaned them to show me how much debris was in there. It turns out the previous company had done nothing apart from charge me £200. Full respect to Alltype for a first class service I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Also a quick mention to Leaane who was excellent with communication with me, and never had a problem with answering my questions.

Pleased to be writing a review for Alltype. We had James, Shane and Albert replacing our flat roof and put in a Velux. All good guys. They know their trade well, and are rightly proud of what they produce. Not something you see too often nowadays, unfortunately. Suppose the best question is would I recommend them to friends and family? Hand-on-heart, yes.

Down-pipe Replacement: Communication was good throughout, original quote did not change, the work went ahead and was completed the same day booked. Scaffolding was booked through a different company and stayed up two weeks after the job was completed. Overall: A good experience and happy to recommend.

Excellent new roof from a team of expert roofers When I needed my roof replacing I deliberately decided to choose someone I believed I could trust, someone I thought would do an excellent job. Element (Clive) came to the house and estimated the roof damage repair ( this estimate visit cost £30 - which is deducted from final bill if Element is commissioned - we did use them). The estimate supplied was very detailed which is very good- at least you know exactly what you are paying for! The estimate to work being completed was quite seamless. Element kept in contact about the start date/ scaffolding going up and being taken down/ the roofers visiting to complete the works- very efficient- so the client does not need to worry or chase about these things. Element roofers did the roof repair work (within the agreed timescale). We had a query when the work was being completed - this was immediately addressed by Darren who oversees the actual jobs by doing an onsite visit to check the work completed linked to the estimate- my query about the works being completed was immediately addressed without hassle. An added bonus is that unlike other contractors approached, Element does not ask for payment (a deposit) in advance of the work being fully completed- even though scaffolding is required. This shows Element intends to ensure the work is completed correctly and the customer is happy before any monies are paid - the £30 paid in advance was deducted from the final invoice. Overall, we would definitely consider asking Element Roofing for a quote again in the future, if we have a roofing repair/ issue.

I cannot recommend Nunhead Roofing more highly. A host of problems was gradually revealed on our roof and terrace on a new build property after water leakage. Fortunately for us the problems were mostly covered by our structural defects policy and Mark was extremely helpful in our negotiations with the insurers on what turned out to be a huge roof replacement project. The quality of his work is outstanding and he was easy and straightforward to deal with.

Nunhead Roofing quoted for a full roof replacement. Mark was very straight forward to deal with. Him and his team showed up as promised consistently and everything was done by the book - detailed quotes, insurance back guarantee, building control certificate etc. Always responsive when asked for updates/photos. Work completed to schedule despite the really poor condition of old roof structure. Work was done with no fuss, was able to leave them to it as access was via scaffolding out front. New roof looks great. Strongly recommend to anyone needing any roof work done.

Did a brilliant job. We had a previous roofer come and fixed the wrong issue (looks like they sent someone quite junior initially to take a look). John came spotted the issue, sent his guys to do a temporary fix the next day, until he could return the following week. Then replaced my roof in 4 days in middle of winter. Charged me what they quoted me, builders were tidy, quick and polite, and - as is a flat(ish) roof - managed to do it without scaffolding saving me some cost. Would recommend them again.

We called John when our roof started to leak in the recent wet weather - turned out our (at least 40 year) old felt needed replacing and John fit us in as quickly as he could to minimise any further water damage. He communicated clearly with us about the extent of the work needed, costs etc and made sure everything was done quickly and with no mess left behind. John initially responded to what was a problem with some ridge tiles. With regret the age of the roof meant that any attempt to lift tiles then resulted in more damage as these tiles were in the region of 85-90 years old. John then came up with a plan to replace the roof at very short notice, which we accepted. The crew he used were very good experienced roofers and the roof was replaced quickly and efficiently and after they had finished, they guys left a very neat and tidy site. Since the job was finished, I had a surveyor come round to check that all was well and the standard of work on the roof was described as "Well above average." CNEM carry liability insurance and I was sent copy of the certificate. Thanks to John for a good job.

Made contact with John, as there was issues with chimney causing leak into the house. He gave me very sound advice with options. After deciding what I wanted to do, appointment made and John attended with crew. Chimney removed and retiled. All work was completed within the time given.
