My son due to been bilingual as English is not his first Language ,and being out of school at reception and half year 1 due to pandemic, and being identified with language disorder and luck of communication,starting at I love to Learn ,was one of the best decisions I have made for him( delayed though) as Since he started ,he liked been there and he had a very big progress during a short period of time. I will definitely continue having him this 'help' and I totally recommend them.

My son loves attending I Love to Learn. His English has definitely improved. It’s great because they focus on each students individual needs and are very supportive. The results can been seen in the quality of this school work now. We are very happy to be sending our son here each week and he looks forward to the summer school.

My daughter went to I Love to Learn and she loved it! She was able to secure a position at one of the top grammar schools through massive improvement in her learning and social skills. Tutors were very supportive, friendly, and professional. I always highly recommend I Love to Learn.

Our son was struggling with maths at school and it was just a few months before his GCSE's when we decided to send him to 'I love to learn' (as recommended by a friend) I had concerns that we'd left it too late, but thanks to Howard and his team, our son quickly gained confidence in areas of maths he'd previously given up on at school. The one to one sessions he received were extremely effective and he progressed well in a short space of time, and managed to pass his Maths GCSE! The team at 'I love to learn' are not only professional but approachable and friendly too. I feel they were particularly supportive and kind to our son and I would therefore highly recommend them.

My daughter has been going to Louisa for over a year now. She was really struggling at school with her confidence so we wanted to give her some extra support with her learning. I am so pleased we found Louisa, my daughter has come on so much from attending her tutoring sessions and her confidence at school now is brilliant. Louisa has tailored a learning programme specifically for her based on her ability and this has helped her massively at school. Louisa is wonderfully kind and goes out of her way to make the learning process fun, friendly and supportive. She has created a lovely learning environment within a home setting. My 11yr old son and 9 year old daughter have been attending My Learning Land with Louisa for years now. I took my children out of school due to special needs and bullying. Louisa is a highly experienced teacher with an amazing classroom. The children have set homework each day and Louisa makes sure each child has the adequate work/teaching needed for their learning needs. Louisa provides the most amazing service and my children love her! Louisa provides the perfect school environment for my children and we 100% recommend her. We would be lost without her!! My year 11 rarely was able to access the curriculum at school. One to one tutoring was the same. She would come home from the sessions with Ruth with pages of notes. I have no idea how she did it. I drove 45 mins to get to the sessions and the same back. I would recommend Ruth to any parent. From my experience Ruth meets young people where they are. Rather than becoming angry or shaming, she is honest, pragmatic and supportive. I wish I'd found her sooner. Amazing value too!

I have been most impressed with my son progress in English Literature and Language, he was not confident for his GCSE exams, having been taught by Ruth, that changed. He was much interested in the subject, taking time to do the learning tasks and watching videos, taking notes and paying attention to the important aspects. I truly recommend Ruth as an English tutor, the quality of the teaching right through to the marking of the tasks and the in depth feedback. My son was given all the techniques, understanding and the reassurance he could do well in his English exams.

Ruth was a great support to my son in the run up to his GCSE’s, she really enhanced his learning and gave him the confidence to answer questions with more clarity and detail. English was never his favourite subject, but Ruth’s sessions always helped him understand what he had to include to get the marks! 😁 I would highly recommend Ruth.

I've been learning basic French for some time now with Adam and it's been great. Adam's very patient and is very good at going at the pace that suits you as the leaner. I particularly like the handouts he uses which gives a very useful structure to the sessions and also something to refer to in your own time. Adam is always on time, without fail, makes maximum use of the 1 hour session, and is very organised in booking holidays/time off. I would definitely recommend using Adam for learning French.

I have been learning French with Adam for nearly a year now. Initially I thought I could learn the language on my own using a language app. After a few lessons with Adam, I learnt that I won't have grasped and appreciated the uniqueness and richness of the language without having a language tutor. Taking lessons with Adam is very beneficial as I get to ask questions on word usage, composition and pronunciation, I also have many homework to do. Adam, merci beaucoup!

I've really enjoyed learning Italian with Adam. Before starting lessons with Adam, I started with an online language school with native Italian tutors, which was helpful but I had a hard time connecting Italian to English. Adam changed that for me. He's brilliant at showing how Italian and English relate and explains the logic behind language rules in a way that native speakers might not realise. Adam is great at simplifying the challenging aspects of Italian. He makes everything, from grammar to idiomatic expressions, very accessible. He's always patient and incredibly supportive, giving me a boost whenever I face difficult parts of the language.

Adam is a fantastic tutor, he is extremely knowledgeable and the lessons are at a great pace. The materials are easy to read and Adam always has a tip to hand for how to digest and apply the material. I would have no hesitation for recommending Adam for anyone who wants to learn a new language

My son has been going to Whiteley Explore Learning for more than 2 years now and I could not speak more highly of it. A combination of SEND needs, unsuccessful home schooling during the pandemic and a need for my son to have more 121 support meant that I looked for private tutoring and was recommended Explore. At first my son was reluctant to attend, but now it's his special place and he's very happy to go. The staff are wonderful, incredibly supportive and adapt to his needs. If I find out my son is struggling with a topic at school, I let the team at Explore know and we work as a team to help improve his understanding of the topic, so that he grows in confidence and ultimately ability to tackle the topic. I particularly like the parents meetings, where I get more insight on my son's progress and abilities than I get at school's parents evenings. They can pinpoint which month of which school year your child is working at, which is so much more useful to know. The team at Explore are incredible, so supportive of parents concerns and they get to know all the children really well and create a wonderful learning environment. If you're in any doubt, try it!

Great team! Approachable, flexible, focused on attending to the children’s needs and supporting their learning journey.My son absolutely enjoys being in the center to prepare his maths GCSEs, credit to all the tutors! Congratulations for the culture created by the team, which encourages learning through the positive relationships empowered by the tutors! Great to see there is tuition available online, workshops are available to deliver tips for exams preparation and the team also facilitates regular progress meetings. I highly recommend the center and I am only saddened that I have not discovered it sooner!

I would like to extend a massive thank you to Aaron and his team for their support for my children. My girls had not completed the curriculum for Year 3 when they started Year 4, to my shock, when we joined Explore. Their progress had been badly hampered by Covid and schools closing for so many months. A year later one of my girls succeeded in achieving an Academic Scholarship and both girls have just been awarded places in two of the top independent schools in Hampshire. We could not have achieved this without the Explore team's support and hard work to get their learning back where they should be and to rediscover their confidence. I would highly recommend Explore which complements children's learning in school very well and allows focused support in areas of maths or English that they are finding tough, alongside their teaching in class.

My two daughters have been doing Kumon maths with Jan in Fareham for 4 years, since they were in reception year. It has massively helped both of them excel at school in every subject. The mental maths and the muscle memory they gain from doing Kumon has given them the ability of getting work done precisely in a short time. It has also given them the discipline they sometimes need. Jan and Angela are amazing. My girls love seeing them in the class. My daughter once said to me Jan is so good at teaching. Both Jan and Angela have given them the guidance, the gentle pressure and the patience they need to excel. So thank you to Jan and Angela for giving my children such a strong background and foundation in achieving at school. I definitely recommend Kumon to everyone 😊

My 8 year old daughter lacked confidence in Maths and was not on track at school at the start of the year but she has been doing Kumon now for a few months and her confidence has grown , she is making links in everyday day life ( adding up her pocket money, knowing how much change she will have when buying things ) and we have just had parents evening and she is now on track in Maths at school ! We are so impressed with the improvement she has made in a small space of time! Highly recommend for any child who lacks confidence and needs an extra boost. It is little and often only takes my daughter 10minutes a day so not overwhelming and always tailored to her ability!

My son has joined Kumon 2 month ago. I am really happy with his progress so far. He is currently working on the Kumon connect App on the tab. This App is really easy to use, feedback comes almost every day after the sheets are submitted. We don't need to wait for the feedback till the next class. Definitely recommend the App over the paper pack. It is a different way of self learning with discipline I have never experienced before. Thanks to Jan and her team in Portchester.

I took my 5 year old daughter here for a free assessment following her end of year school report. My husband and I were very pleased that we were given honest feedback by Howard, who was thorough and professional. We were dubious as to whether or not our daughter’s abilities might be played down to encourage us to pay for future sessions, but I am delighted that this was not the case at all. Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. I highly recommend I Love to Learn, they work well with the children and keep you constantly updated with their progress which was just what I was looking for.
