I have been most impressed with my son progress in English Literature and Language, he was not confident for his GCSE exams, having been taught by Ruth, that changed. He was much interested in the subject, taking time to do the learning tasks and watching videos, taking notes and paying attention to the important aspects.
I truly recommend Ruth as an English tutor, the quality of the teaching right through to the marking of the tasks and the in depth feedback.

My year 11 rarely was able to access the curriculum at school. One to one tutoring was the same. She would come home from the sessions with Ruth with pages of notes. I have no idea how she did it. I drove 45 mins to get to the sessions and the same back. I would recommend Ruth to any parent. From my experience Ruth meets young people where they are. Rather than becoming angry or shaming, she is honest, pragmatic and supportive. I wish I'd found her sooner. Amazing value too!
