I brought my son to First Class Learning when he was in his last year at high school, to help prepare for his English exams. What an amazing service they provide. Harriet and Molly were excellent and added extra time onto his lessons to make sure he was as prepared as he could be. They offered us an excellent service. My daughter started at First Class Learning in September and I have already seen a big improvement in her Maths and English skills. Harriet and the team are lovely and friendly and have made my daughter feel really welcome. She looks forward to her weekly sessions at the centre and is even keen to do her homework! I can’t thank FCL Swinton enough for the confidence they have brought back to my son’s learning. My son can get very distracted at school but FCL have put provisions in place to help him stay focused and enjoy his tutoring time without him feeling “tied” to his desk. We first approached Christopher in February/March this year. After an initial assessment, our daughter commenced weekly lessons with one of the tutors (Jeremy). Jeremy was very approachable, friendly and our daughter got on very well with him from the outset. Jeremy was very good at explaining things and when my daughter was uncertain, she never felt uncomfortable telling him that she did not understand. Jeremy provided lots of papers to assist my daughter in preparing for the 11 plus and even she has said that the mock test (arranged by them) was helpful as she definitely felt less nervous about the actual exam. We received our daughters results yesterday and we’re so pleased that she had passed and not only did she get the required score for the school we had hoped, she also gained a enough to be considered by Altrincham Grammar. We can’t thank Christopher and Jeremy enough for their help and support and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering putting their child in for the 11 plus :)

My son was tutored by Christopher leading to him securing a place at his first choice of Grammar School. I saw a really significant improvement in my son's confidence and knowledge. His creative writing skills came on leaps and bounds after attending the creative writing workshop. I would highly recommend Christopher and Eleven Plus Tutors, especially their creative writing workshops and practice exams.

My son was tutored by Christopher for eight months prior to the eleven plus exam. He was able to consolidate his knowledge in both maths and English, and fill in any gaps in his learning needed for this exam. Christopher also helped with strategies for verbal and nonverbal reasoning. Hari attended the exam preparation sessions, mock exams and some of the essay writing workshops. I can’t recommend Christopher highly enough. Hari was offered a place at his first choice Grammar school and was offered an academic scholarship at his first choice independent school. My younger son, with a very different learning method is now being tutored by Christopher and is thriving in his lessons. We are currently having online lessons with Christopher which are working extremely well. I would highly recommend anyone planning to put their children in for entrance exams to contact Eleven Plus Tutors.

Christopher has been tutoring our son for the last 18 months or so. He has such an amazing rapport with kids. He encouraged and supported our son, inspiring him and boosting his confidence. Our son successfully secured an out of catchment place at AGSB and was also awarded an academic scholarship at a fantastic independent school. He was fully prepared for the exams, going into them relaxed and confident, as a result of high quality tutoring and as a result of attending the mock exams offered by Eleven Plus Tutors. Choice tutoring ( Kirstie) took my twins on several grades from mocks to GCSE French and Spanish. Great in person / at home tutoring. She was reliable and patient and gave them the confidence needed to tackle exam conditions . Highly recommended.

Choice Home Tutoring really made the difference as the tutors helped my son pass the 11+ exam and the entrance exam for Manchester Grammar School. At the beginning Jo made sure that we had a tutor that was compatible with our needs and as a result our son greatly benefitted from start to finish. Adele and her team have been absolutely BRILLIANT- the way in which they teach has turned my 6 year old around in the space of 6 weeks! I attended the christmas crash course for AS Chemistry Unit 2. I enjoyed the experience as it was a time to relate and learn with other students. I recommend the crash courses to anyone who is re-sitting their AS levels or just in first year wanting to revise for the upcoming exams.
