Nicola is an excellent tutor and we highly recommend. She successfully tutored our son to pass the 11+ exam. Our son enjoyed her sessions and looked forward to attending each week. The sessions were engaging and spot on in content and the exam preparation made sure our son felt calm and focused on the day. We will definitely use Nicola again for our second child.

Nicola at Forest 1st Tutoring managed to work wonders in getting our daughter up to speed in time for the 11+ exam. We left it very late in the day to start preparing and Nicola agreed to tutor across the summer term and summer holidays - primarily using group work with additional one-on-one sessions on top. The transformation in our daughter’s confidence and attainment was amazing. The tutoring would have been worthwhile regardless of the outcome as not only has she achieved a solid pass in the 11+, she has also been really well set up to make a happy and confident start to year 6.

This was excellent tutoring from a teacher who understands what is needed and how to help children achieve it. The best thing was that it was welcoming, encouraging and confidence building.
