Our first time attending one of these events and we were made to feel welcome and our babies had a fantastic time. My little girl loved the mud kitchen and would have played there indefinitely if left to her own devices.

It was nice to be close to nature and was both peaceful and pleasant.

The play area is quite well hidden which is fantastic for peace of mind while leaving babies to play but signposts may help to guide newcomers.

All in all a great experience was had by my children, I will definitely attend again In the future.

My 2 year old absolutely loved his time here. The space is beautiful with such a wide variety of activities. I am returning tomorrow with my older 2 children. Perfect place for them to explore and get messy in a safe environment. Sian and the other 2 staff there are so welcoming and just lovely. We are blessed to have things like this to attend with others SEND families. Thank you so much.

Sians SEN forest school holiday groups are a lifeline for our family. When all our regular groups end, we find it really difficult.

As a neurodiverse family, we love structure and routine. I find the rest of the SEN summer events hard to book and are not regular, so we only participate in Sians' sessions now.

It has been lovely to see how much my daughter's confidence has grown in the space, compared to last year when she was so shy.

There was a lovely volunteer this year who my daughter bonded with straight away.
My daughter would talk about going to see Sian every week. We were lucky to be able to book 2 sessions a week, which really helped build up continuity for my daughter.

What an inspiring, serene haven! Siân is wonderfully inviting, sincere and a devoted Forest practitioner, promoting a sense of adventure and discovery. My two boys have found new connections with the outdoors, encouraging them to get excited about learning, all manner of things. Toasting marshmallows on an open fire, is certainly a delicious adventure that everyone can enjoy! We love coming here as a family, rain or shine, be it pond dipping, clay modelling, bee-keeping, bush craft & sensory activities, mini beast hunts galore…We can’t get enough! Thank you 🫶🏼

My niece has attended a few sessions of the SEND forest school sessions hosted by Sian and loved them. She has had lots of new experiences, making paint from nature, exploring a mud kitchen, learning where to find bugs, and fire starting and marshmallow roasting. There are also lots of great sensory activities provided which you don't find in many kids places. My niece is usually quite fussy with food but on the most recent visit she tried the food which was made at the forest school, and she really enjoyed it. She was also very sociable with the other children there which suprised me; this must be due to the nice environment created. I feel like this is a very welcoming, relaxing and non judgemental environment. It is a great way for children to learn and be in nature.
