I started learning Korean with Amy a couple of months ago. I was nervous at first, but Amy is a really good teacher. She explains everything until you understand it. She is also funny and makes the lessons so fun. There is also assignments, quizes, lessons that is linked to your interests which makes everything interesting and informative in an enjoyable way. I have been planning to learn Korean for so long and I'm glad we have Amy as our teacher!

I've been learning Korean with Amy since Jan 2024. Learning a new language is really hard but I have really enjoyed my new hobby and seeing the progress I've made in such a short time is exciting. Amy's lessons are always so well-structured but also fun and engaging. She always has times for questions when I am uncertain on something. She also incorporates special lessons, like learning about Korean history, culture and food, which are always really fun and informative! I don’t write reviews normally but Amy definitely deserves to have one wrote about her. Amy is a kind and patient tutor with me, I originally wanted to learn Korean for travelling but now I want to make it a second language. The way Any goes through the lessons I feel like they are the perfect pace and they are challenging enough to be enjoyable as she’s not a tutor that makes the students write off a whiteboard, Amy is very engaging with the tasks and when we are doing a speaking task she makes me feel like I’m speaking with a friend rather than a teacher. She’s also amazing in the fact that she gives me recommendations for my personal life, outside the classroom bubble, because I live in greater Manchester she gives me recommendations to places to go for food or shops to go to when she gives me new food recipes to make for my family. I would highly recommend any for someone who is wanted to learn Korean whether it is for fun, travelling or just to learn as a second language.

Amy is the best person I could have hoped for, she has great teaching skills, balancing activities for all language skills, is kind and puts you at ease learning no matter your level.
