I have been a tutor at Tavistock for almost a year now and they are by FAR the best agency I have worked with! Their tutors are excellent, and their treatment of tutors is even better. They provide regular clients whose needs are perfectly aligned to the tutor's skills, making the process as simple as signing up! They always maintain contact to make sure the tutoring is going well, and in doing so are one of the few agencies to take care of the tutor as well as the client!

Minerva Tutors have been a massive help for my daughter taking a 13+ academic scholarship. I contacted Minerva and had a call with the office and explained exactly what I wanted. They found me Fiona Gold for English tutoring who was brilliant. She was very professional, knowledgeable and worked my daughter really hard teaching her a huge amount. Her English improved dramatically and she would frequently comment on how it made her school English lessons so much easier, and she was very well prepared for the scholarship exam. My 12 year old son has recently started learning 121 with Minerva Tutors and in just a short space of time he has already gained more knowledge in each of the subjects he is learning thanks to the outstanding teaching of each of the tutors who really care about the individual learning needs and progress of the student. They are the only trusted organisation in the South London who have remarkable achievements, as many of the families whom I know have the same feedback. Kavita Arif is an excellent Math teacher. She has been tutoring my son for a few weeks, and her teaching method is very interactive. She keeps her students engaged continuously and works them through any sticky patches they might encounter. She is brilliant, and I highly recommend her. Safiyyah is an excellent Biology, Chemistry and Geography teacher. She has extensive knowledge of her subjects and is gentle with her students, allowing them to be comfortable and grasp the subject matter she teaches. She is fantastic, and I wish she had taught more subjects.

Kevin is an outstanding and naturally gifted tutor who was able to put my daughter at ease from the 1st lesson. He understands the teenage brain and works very well in nurturing his student with versatility and consideration of their current mindset. He has such a vast knowledge and currently, we are focussing on maths yet we could include the sciences, too, in the future, if necessary. Kevin gives such great tips that are current and helpful for exam revision. He is extremely talented and dedicated and it blows my mind how he brings out the best in my daughter’s attitude to learning with ease, which is not an easy task. My son found Alun absolutely perfect for him, he enjoyed every session with him and usually came out with a smile on his face as he had learnt something new again. My daughter really enjoys coming. I can see that she is more confident and become a little explorer. The staff are polite and work to understand your child's needs.
