The tutor matched to me was very helpful. Her essay writing course contributed to my first year history average going from a mid 2.1 to a high 1 in second year. The course focused on structure and presentation of analytical ideas. Learning the basics again, even being 19 years old, proved to be incredibly helpful.

The matched tutors for Sociology and Geography A level were outstanding. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. Uber Tutors coached my child through their dyslexia diagnosis, immediately understanding their needs and instilling confidence. They have now finished A levels top of their class and top three in their year for their chosen subjects, including A*s in Sociology and Geography. In total 3 x A* and 1 x A. I would not hesitate in recommending Uber Tutors and will encourage my teenager to access their coaching and support through university if needed.

I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I cannot thank Tania and Uber Tutors enough.

I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.

Kumon, has changed the way my daughter was thinking about maths for good. She found it easy and not as terrifying as other children. This is all because of Kumon Fulham team. They made it really simple for her to understand. They are very supportive and gave her confidence to study there. The staff is so kind and they are always happy to help and it’s never too much to ask of them. They are truly professional in what they do and they help change so many lives.

Lupita who runs this centre is fabulous. She's had this Kumon for 17years now! I heard about her from other parents in the area as being a teacher who takes pride in helping kids of all levels come along at their own pace. My boys are two very different learners, one of them non-traditional so this was important to me. Lupita was able to support both in maths and english. I would highly recommend this centre with Lupita and her experienced team.

My sons attended Kumon for many years studying Maths and English. Learning how to take control of their own learning and to study little and often has helped them. They both attended local state secondary schools but I feel that Kumon gave them the additional help they needed especially at primary school level. Both of our sons are now studying at the two top Oxbridge universities. They are academically successful and happy.

I have used the service of Keystone Tutor preparing for 11 plus exam, for a period of roughly six months. Process of onboarding was really efficient and swift, tutoring of great quality. We have been helped to match to our needs with the perfect tutor - Donal Coonan. The key feature of the tutor was the very engaging tone that kept my ten-year-old boy really interested in the session. Quality of the explanation was really good, giving an intuitive sense on how to approach a problem. The tutoring was not only offering simple equations and tools, but a system of thinking and how to engage with a problem. My son was tutored by Omar Gonga, a Maths graduate from Imperial, for his entrance exam into a private school. Omar was very calm, considerate and caring when it came to dealing with my son. He was engaging and dealt with difficult concepts patiently. When my son became bored or irate, he patiently guided him to do his best. Dr Lampus is an excellent Chemistry tutor, he is helping my daughter towards achieving a top grade in her A level; he is always positive, approachable, and patient and prepared to help her with any query she might have. We are very happy with the tuition at Kip McGrath in Hammersmith. We do weekly KS2 maths and english sessions and the children have progressed really well, which has also been recognised by their school. We are particularly happy with the 11+ preparations, advice and support by Sam and his team.

Incredibly happy with the service at this tuition centre. The staff are patient and capable, dramatically improving my daughter’s Maths and English capabilities after just a few months. Sara has been brilliant with Emily. Emily has always struggled with maths at school but Sara has taken her back to basics and is working her way through each topic, step by step, without making Emily "feel stupid" which is how she felt before. Very happy with help we have received from Simply Learning Tuition. The communication was clear, fast and easy. They helped us to find a wonderful tutor ( Elizabeth Campbell) for our daughter to help with her preparation for Cambridge interview, as well as throughout overall admission process. It was really helpful to see monthly reports on what was covered in each of the sessions. Elizabeth is very competent, knowledgeable, inspirational and helped a lot with our daughter’s confidence in the process. She also was very flexible with the timings of individual session, working around our daughter’s schedule.

They are very well connected and the Kensington address helps with high calibre clientele. Their international work can be varied and payment issues are not unknown with some clients. However, their accounts team and management are very personable and genuinely act as agents for their tutors and clients rather than faceless middlemen adding little value. Sophie is excellent and comes at this from the background of tutoring herself so just gets it. Dion works very hard and is a very empathetic member of the team, understanding clients and tutors' perspectives very well.

It's hard to find a tutor that totally understands how your child works, but Simply Learning Tuition listened....and they found Sara to help tutor my child. From the beginning Sara was inventive/flexible with her teaching, kind, supportive and ready to help whenever needed. Highly recommend.
