We’ve recently started tutoring with this company, and I can gladly confirm that they are exceptional in their teaching. I was always hesitant that tutoring wouldn’t help me as much but they make sure to tailor my needs by asking me constantly if I understand the work, and to relay back the information they taught me. This repetitive teaching Really helps cement the workload. I couldn’t have recommended them enough! The tutors are all great and even take the time to help me decide my future plans about university.

Working with Minerva has been an excellent experience. I have been particularly impressed with the communication to us on the content covered and the progress made during tutor sessions. Minerva Tutors have been a massive help for my daughter taking a 13+ academic scholarship. I contacted Minerva and had a call with the office and explained exactly what I wanted. They found me Fiona Gold for English tutoring who was brilliant. She was very professional, knowledgeable and worked my daughter really hard teaching her a huge amount. Her English improved dramatically and she would frequently comment on how it made her school English lessons so much easier, and she was very well prepared for the scholarship exam. After being advised by a local primary school teacher in the North West of the UK, I contacted Owl Tutors for their services for my daughter as she had secondary school examinations. From the offset, it was clear that each of our goals were in synergy as they dealt with Gabrielle as an individual with her specific needs. Natalie has been a brilliant maths tutor to our daughter over this academic year. Natalie has a very calm, warm manner and takes time to plan engaging and well-paced lessons. Natalie took time to set manageable homework tasks and gave helpful feedback on my daughter’s progress and areas to focus on. My daughter never complained about logging in to online lessons with Natalie and definitely benefitted from Natalie’s patience and interactive ideas. My daughter started her 11-plus journey at Brightstart in 2019. Kavitha is very structured in her teaching, especially in covering math topics, providing helpful tips and tricks. Kavitha had been a great support during the entire journey for 11+, which from experience can be challenging throughout the year. But during those challenging times Kavitha has supported and guided both of my sons. We went to TAG for additional support as my son prepared for the barrage of 11+ and senior school entry exams. All the team at TAG seem fabulous and so engaged in their work with the children but my son idolises his tutor, Felix. He's keen to go to his lesson, comes out beaming from ear to ear, AND has significantly accelerated his learning. They've loved Maths problem solving together and worked hard to build on my son's English comprehension and analysis skills. Felix is patient and creative in finding ways to embed the knowledge, whilst keeping the sessions vibrant and productive. Tailoring the sessions to what most needs to be worked on but adding in some of the things he's strong on to keep the confidence up. I would highly recommend TAG and Felix for both 11+ and more rounded educational support. Thank you.

Nick is an excellent and highly qualified tutor. He played a huge part in the achievement of my daughter's GCSE. From the beginning, he offered a lot of help and was very efficient in his lessons. My daughter has often surprised me with the variety of ways to solve a problem, and this is down to Nick, who has highly influenced her way of thinking . Kavita Arif is an excellent Math teacher. She has been tutoring my son for a few weeks, and her teaching method is very interactive. She keeps her students engaged continuously and works them through any sticky patches they might encounter. She is brilliant, and I highly recommend her. Safiyyah is an excellent Biology, Chemistry and Geography teacher. She has extensive knowledge of her subjects and is gentle with her students, allowing them to be comfortable and grasp the subject matter she teaches. She is fantastic, and I wish she had taught more subjects.

My son found Alun absolutely perfect for him, he enjoyed every session with him and usually came out with a smile on his face as he had learnt something new again. He took Physics and Computer science and with Alun`s help, he managed to achieve high grades in his GCSE. Kevin is an outstanding and naturally gifted tutor who was able to put my daughter at ease from the 1st lesson. He understands the teenage brain and works very well in nurturing his student with versatility and consideration of their current mindset. He has such a vast knowledge and currently, we are focussing on maths yet we could include the sciences, too, in the future, if necessary. Kevin gives such great tips that are current and helpful for exam revision. Our son has been attending Ian’s Kumon group from Oct 2018. It has been a journey - our son has realised that he has to study a little bit each day. It was challenging at first but now he has advanced so much - in math, writing and reading. Kumon certainly boosts his confidence, he has developed good hand writing and genuine interests to reading and spelling difficult words :-) It is always a pleasure to come to the class.
