Sam tutored our son in GCSE maths for less than a year. His grade improved from a 6 to an 8 and more importantly, his confidence in maths grew. Sam also gave a couple of hours of tuition in Physics and Chemistry just before our son's exams which, I believe, helped his confidence and helped him to bump up his grades.

Giuliano helped me to achieve a grade A in maths A-Levels and I honestly could not have done it without his incredible support. He is super friendly and approachable. I always felt very comfortable to ask him to go over a question or topic that I didn't understand. He always explained key concepts very well, that had not been taught in school yet. This allowed me to get ahead and spend more time practicing exam questions rather than learning theory. As well as that he pushed me to become familiar with challenging questions so that questions in the actual exam did not seem daunting. Giuliano was always readily available. There was multiple times where I reached out to him via messaging to help me with a question I was stuck on even with the mark scheme. He also gave me lots of insight and tips and helped keep me calm and confident during the exams. I cannot recommend him enough, Thank you for everything Giuliano! 😄

We’ve been contemplating tutoring for a while for our 6 year old son, now in year 2. Lockdown made us go for it. Home schooling was a fail but we wanted him to start back at school enthusiastic about learning again and also at around the level he should be for starting year 2. Amy from Ealing Tutoring really understood our needs and what would work well for our son. The tutor she suggested for us has been brilliant. Our son has lessons every weekend now. We’re keen to continue to help with the 7+ and I can see he’s really getting a lot out of it so it would be a shame to stop. He actually looks forward to the tutor coming every weekend. The lessons are really varied (even though we’ve been focusing on English), interactive, engaging and most importantly, fun. The tutor is great and really understands our son. I’m impressed by the prep that goes into each lesson and how she caters it to what he enjoys, whilst still ensuring she gets the most out of him. He came home yesterday super pleased with himself for being the only child in his class to get 5 class points for writing the ‘most interesting sentences’ in his English lesson. That is definitely a direct result of his tutoring lessons.

I was so lucky to find Ealing Tutoring this summer. At the beginning of lockdown we moved back to Ealing form Barcelona where my son (4) and my daughter (6) attended a bilingual Montessori. Last November we secured them places in a school with very high standards. We were aware that there was already quite a bit of catching up to do but then with missing so much school due to the pandemic I started to worry for my daughter in particular. I did some research and found Amy and her company. She was unbelievably helpful, very reassuring and totally understanding. She matched our needs with two brilliant tutors who my kids absolutely adored. They made learning so fun and they looked forward to their tutors arrival. Very quickly they learnt my kid’s strengths and weaknesses and tailored their sessions accordingly. My son got to start reception with a head start and my daughter got to start year two knowing important terminology and a basic understand of all the areas so it made it less daunting for her. I can’t thank the tutors enough and we look forward to our sessions this Christmas holiday. 10/10 and an A* from me!

I have used the service of Keystone Tutor preparing for 11 plus exam, for a period of roughly six months. Process of onboarding was really efficient and swift, tutoring of great quality. We have been helped to match to our needs with the perfect tutor - Donal Coonan. The key feature of the tutor was the very engaging tone that kept my ten-year-old boy really interested in the session. Quality of the explanation was really good, giving an intuitive sense on how to approach a problem. All three of my children have attended Numberworks over the years and have all greatly benefited from its excellent easy-to-understand and motivating system. Children and parents alike are given a very clear idea of how they are improving as they are set targets and goals whilst also being allowed to play a few games in between tasks! When first proposed to my 7 (son) and 11 (daughter) year olds, additional maths was greeted with expected moaning. After one session, they were obsessed and have demanded to go multiple times every week. My daughter started tuition for maths at Boost Education-Ealing Branch from January 2019. She is enjoying the work immensely and I feel her confidence was boosted very much. She works in very small group, she loves her teacher Sara and gets a lot on 1 to 1 when needed. I get regular reports on progress by email or face to face informal chats. Overall very happy with this tuition centre and will continue to attend as my daughter is moving to high school now and will use this as additional support for her learning and development. The location is great and easy to get to, very convenient within walking distance from Ealing Broadway.

Excellent teaching! Examberry prepared our son incredibly well for all the exams and he was so much more confident than otherwise would have been. The programme is structured in a brilliant way, it allowed Theodore to fill in all the gaps and re-visit the areas he already knew. Also the numerous tests and mock papers he did were invaluable. I can honestly say that he would not have got so many offers if not for the excellent teaching. The only thing I regret is that we have not discovered them sooner for our two older children. We have tried many tutors both individual and group and I can definitely say that they are the best by far! Our son got offers from all four highly competetive both London and Surrey independent schools we were applying for. We were delighted especially that this year was one which had the highest number of applications ever! Thank you so very much!

It has been a pleasure to be a parent of the Ealing Broadway branch! I have 2 sons, one who has been with Explore for 5 years and the other joined a year ago as he had just entered Reception.
