Chose Chatfield based on Google reviews and was not dissapointed. James responded promptly and was very thorough in diagnosing a tricky boiler fault!! Fortunately he’s an approved Ideal engineer and mine was an Ideal boiler, happy days! Would definitely recommend and I’ll certainly be using again for all my future gas/ heating needs!!

I was very happy with James's work for me. He spent an hour servicing my boiler and even kindly provided batteries for a thermostat. Very efficient, helpful service, and good value.

Martyn is an excellent professional plumber who came out to help with our broken old boiler. Within 24 hours we have a new boiler fully installed and commissioned! Really couldn’t ask for better service. He took us through all the replacement options and warranties and once we had made our decision, the new boiler was delivered 30 minutes later ready for Martyn to fit the next morning. He was on time and kept us up to date on progress. A very tidy, neat job all round. Will certainly be using him and his team for all our future plumbing needs!

G&H Heating gave our old boiler an overhaul when we moved into our house and managed to get it through another winter very effectively! He is lovely, friendly and clearly cares about what he does. My wife found him very easy to have in the house which is always a plus! I would highly recommend to anyone.

I have used Gareth on several occasions, from smaller jobs (moving a radiator at home) to larger jobs (installing a boiler and central heating in our church building). Neil was great, professional and helpful. My shower screen fell into the bath, leaving 2 holes and in need of a replacement. Instead of many others who insisted a large portion of the bathroom needed replacing, Neil carefully took the tiles out needed to get the old bath out and fitted a new bath, shower screen and pannel. Meaning no unnecessary waste and more environmentally & budget friendly. On time, friendly, would recommend. Thanks Neil :)

James Hall plumbing and heating is actually on my speed dial! Always ready to help even if it’s over the phone. I feel like a typical girl when it comes to things around the house and having small children I don’t have the time to research possible causes myself, so whenever my boiler isn’t kicking in (temperature set too high apparently!)or my downstairs bathroom and utility has no water but the rest of the house is fine ( frozen pipes the culprit here!) leaks from the washing machine, blocked toilets, my gas fire etc, I just get straight on the phone . James is always friendly and accommodating and makes me feel like I’m not a bother . I have recommended him to a lot of my friends. Can’t speak highly enough of him.

Ian recommended two types of combi-boiler, illustrating the pro's and con's of each and we decided on his advice on the best combi for size of our property. When it came to installation, Ian made sure we were prepped on what to expect, time frames and he was always courteous and a good listener. Arriving as agreed 1st thing, and putting in 2 full days work. The work was completed within the 2 days, to a very high standard, and we were confident to leave Ian & Steve alone in our home to get on with their work. There was zero mess afterward, and I believe Ian & Steve take great pride in the craftmanship and the quality of their work. There are others out there who bamboozle and try it on, we got 3 quotes and Ian Woodward's gave us the confidence to choose his company above the other two, who were ok but didnt instill confidence. Simon attended to repair a serious leak above the dining room ceiling. Access proved to be quite difficult but Simon worked round the problem, identified the source of the leak and sorted everything out for us very professionally, keeping damage and mess to an absolute minimum and charging a very fair price for the work. This is the second time Simon has done work for us and I can't recommend him highly enough. A really nice guy and an honest and expert tradesman.
