On Saturday we were unable to lock our front door. Phoned Tom at Top Locks and he turned up just over an hour later and replaced the door lock mechanism. Tom has done work for us before at another address and on both occasions he has turned up when he said he would. Tom is polite, friendly and efficient. I can definitely recommend Top Locks.

I called Tim from Hazlewood Locksmiths in the morning at 11:45 AM when my front door lock mechanism failed. Despite having a packed day with around 17 jobs, he still managed to come out that afternoon and get it sorted. The part he replaced wasn’t even something you could just pick up from a shop, but he had it with him. You can tell straight away that he’s got years of experience. He was quick, professional and explained what he’d done in a really straightforward way. No issues, just got the job done properly. He also mentioned that doors can shift slightly depending on the season and offered to come back and adjust it if needed free of charge, which really shows how much he cares about doing things right. On top of that, he’s someone you instantly feel you can trust and his prices were very reasonable. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. We’ve used his services several times. 👍🏻 😊

Tim was very helpful recently when a customer of mine locked himself out of his room with valuable possessions inside. Unfortunately I was (at the same time) called out to another emergency out of County. Despite being "out of hours" Tim was poised and ready to go within minutes and headed out to the customer, arriving in about 20 minutes. Tim was able to pick open the lock which allowed the cylinder to be used on a key when the "in hours" staff returned - this made the job cheaper for the customer who had made a simple mistake. Thank you Tim and I will happily recommend him for any locksmith work in the future.

Stephen was literally a live saver tonight, I was lock out my house with my son and he literally took under 15mins to get to my house to unlock the door, he was very friendly and light hearted, he also recommended some places to get some decent keys cut, will be using this locksmith again if im ever in another pickle!

Dropped in today to get some Master padlock keys cut. Service was exceptional. Great care taken to ensure the correct blanks. Never been here before, but I will certainly be back. Excellent range of locks and padlocks available, engraving and other services. Even footwear and insoles available (might be back for a pair of those for ski boots!).

Very good quality key cutting for car keys, they have done 6 sets of keys for 4 cars which one was a new case. The others I bought decent cases of eBay and they cut them and I swapped over the internals. No issues at all with the keys working in the locks and they were all friendly and great prices. I only did 2 out of emergency really but since they were great I followed up buy doing the others since the other 2 cars are 07 and 08 so the original Vauxhall fobs were collapsing on the buttons making them hard to use. Not now, all my cars have as new fobs :)

He came the day I called and fixed my broken lock. He needed to get a new part and was back that day to complete the job. My door is usable again and works better than before as I can now close and lock my door without fighting it. Thanks for the speedy and reliable service. I would recommend this business.

Visited the Allenton store with a friends watch that had had a battery change elsewhere and now couldn't be wound after the clocks went back. The watch was fixed in a couple of minutes and the cause of the issue was demonstrated to me. He clearly knew what he was doing and talking about. Thanks for your help. Excellent Customer Service. Rang and made an appointment for a replacement car key. Fitted me in a couple of days later. Took half an hour to sort out the key. The guy was really friendly and professional and the key works fine. Takes cash, card or bank transfer payments. Much cheaper than going through car dealership too. Would definitely recommend.

After speaking to one locksmith who wouldn't/couldn't come out, we were put over to Peak Auto Locks, who were able to help us. We were on holiday in Derbyshire and I had locked my car up and for extra security I had put a disklok on the wheel. The next morning went to go out, and I had forgotten the key to open it(silly me). Ash came out and after we were warned that there could be damage to my steering wheel if he had to use an angle grinder to get it off. I was nervous, but after trying without one, it failed to come off, so the angle grinder had to be used. In the end, all was well. It came off with no damage, and we were able to carry on with our holiday. He came out very quickly. Thank you very much for your quick and professional service. Jacob attended the address, tested the faulty instrument cluster in my mazda 3 called back a week later with replacement he ordered,calibrated and fitted in around 40 minutes with only a modest charge considering what others would have charged. First class this young man is most professional, polite and very knowledgeable. Ignore any negative feedback from anyone. I attended ECU and as warned by others they were unable to resolve or find a replacement!
