Required assistance when my door wouldn't lock correctly at approximately 9pm. the technician made sure everything was safe that evening and arrived in less than half an hour. he was incredibly efficient and considerate, and for such a late call, the cost was extremely affordable. it's a huge relief to have such a trustworthy locksmith near ilkeston train station. access locksmiths is highly recommended!

When a key broke in the lock at around 9:25 a.m., access locksmiths were able to help. They arrived within the forty minutes that were promised. It was promptly fixed at 9:55 a.m. It was reasonably priced and the locksmith was friendly and efficient. It's great to have such a trustworthy service close to Ilkeston Community Hospital. Highly recommended!

Needed an emergency gain entry and lock change on a Sunday. Very accommodating, arrived very quickly, really friendly. No messing around, all done and cleaned up in 20 mins. Adjusted the door to sit better at the same time even though he did not need to. Excellent price considering for a standard lock change, absolute bargain for an emergency. I had a problem with one of my UPVC French doors not locking, and being relatively new to the area had no idea who to call. Following a Goole search found Tim, and within a couple of hours of initial call he was on the scene, assessed the need for a new internal mechanism and ordered the parts. He also realigned the doors properly, and refused any payment until the next day, when the parts arrived. Kept me in the loop, arrived and sorted out the repair with minimal fuss. Really great service, and highly recommended to anyone in the area needing a friendly and efficient locksmith.

Called Tim after one of the locking hooks had become stuck engaged on the front door, preventing it from opening or locking. An hour later he arrived, replaced the damaged locking mechanism for the door and adjusted everything to get a perfect seal. Brilliant service and will definitely keep him in mind for any issues in the future.

Tim was very helpful recently when a customer of mine locked himself out of his room with valuable possessions inside. Unfortunately I was (at the same time) called out to another emergency out of County. Despite being "out of hours" Tim was poised and ready to go within minutes and headed out to the customer, arriving in about 20 minutes. Tim was able to pick open the lock which allowed the cylinder to be used on a key when the "in hours" staff returned - this made the job cheaper for the customer who had made a simple mistake. Thank you Tim and I will happily recommend him for any locksmith work in the future.

Livens attended my property to replace a lock after losing the key. They responded quickly to replace the lock and after consultation, were also able to supply and fit thumb turns as an extra security measure, at a very reasonable cost. Ivan replaced the locks and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Livens for a good and friendly service.

Thanks very much to Richard! The service was extremely professional from start to finish. My grandma, (in her 80s), had a problem with her window locking late on a Friday night. We were asked to provide photos to confirm if the parts would be available. We were given an update on the Monday as promised! Then Richard went look at the issue himself as promised and on time. The issue wasn't as bad as first thought. He found a solution and charged an extremely reasonable price. My grandma was very happy! Thank you! We would definitely recommend this company! Excellent customer service .. even came to out to our building and tested keys to lock to perfect them … the keys were a bit tricky … but sorted to satisfaction… much better service than at Timpsons who gave conflicting advice depending on which store u went to .. ie availability of template to cut those particular keys.

Visited the Allenton store with a friends watch that had had a battery change elsewhere and now couldn't be wound after the clocks went back. Dropped in today to get some Master padlock keys cut. Service was exceptional. Great care taken to ensure the correct blanks. Never been here before, but I will certainly be back.
