From the initial visit to discuss the work and provide a quote to the completion of the project, we were impressed by the attention to detail and small touches that make the difference between doing a job and doing a great job. The quality of the materials provided and the work done was fantastic. We had work done at both the front and rear of the property. In the back garden, we had the existing path and path replaced and extended, with a raised bed added to one side. At the front, we had the path removed and the full area paved. We previously had problems on the patio with poor drainage, owing to heavy clay soil and the garden sloping down towards the house. Kristian therefore advised adding drainage along the edge of the new patio. This channel feeds into the downpipe from the guttering, meaning that water is fully drained away from the property, which is a huge improvement. Improvements to the front included matching the slope of the paved area to the slope of the drive, and recessing the drain covers so that they blend in with the paving, which gives a much better appearance. While carrying out the work, he also replaced a couple of rotten fence posts for us. Once the new posts were installed, he went to the trouble to re-mount the bird feeders which had been attached to the old posts - one of the small touches mentioned earlier. All in all we are delighted with the work done and really looking forward to spending more time in both outdoor areas when better weather arrives.

I cannot believe the transformation of my garden and car port. I gave Kris a very brief idea of what I wanted. He has delivered more than I imagined. He has worked so hard often in terrible weather I highly recommend KH Design

Kris and Ben did a re-sculpting of part of our l-shaped garden. The job entailed relaying an existing patio area and a new path from lower entrance to a higher point where have a shed. They also replaced large 900x600 paving with those that were on the original patio, 600x600. The new patio uses sandstone and has a great look that adds to the garden's overall effect. Kris designed and erected a pergola, which not easy to achieve but has delivered a great structure to grow plants against. We had to replace our existing fencing and was Kris was able to advise us on a cost effective solution as our budget was limited. Kris is very collaborative and easy to work with. Kris and Ben are very hard working, clean the site every night and were a pleasure to have around the garden. I can't recommend them enough to anyone considering garden landscaping, fencing or patio laying.
