Having recently been flooded we were having trouble getting the insurance company to send out an electrician, so decided to call our own. Leighton from DES came out the next day, was clear about what needed doing and liaised with Western Power for us. When the utility company had fixed their equipment Leighton came out again when he said he would and got our power back on, checked all the circuits and advised us on what we could and couldn’t use. He was great at problem solving, very thorough and professional at all times. I would have no problem recommending DES to anyone.

We have used the guys from Derbyshire Energy Solutions for all of our projects over the years. They have recently installed LED lighting, fire, TV and surround sound on our Media wall, along with outside security lighting, rerouting cat 5 cables, installing remote heating system & various other jobs. Thoroughly professional, neat and tidy, competitive and most importantly turn up when they say they are coming. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had the team at DES install an Air Conditioning unit in my garden office in Derby, so pleased with the results, cool in summer heatwaves and toasty warm in winter. Install was hassle free and unit is really efficient.

Used Adam Hemsley electrical when my elderly father was experiencing an electrical fault in his home whilst I was at work and unable to get there. Adam attended promptly and managed to sort out the electrical fault that had left my father without power, which he depends on as he has multiple health and mobility issues. Adam also provided information on how we can resolve the issue to prevent further outages. Adam is extremely competent and also friendly. He made sure my father was comfortable and safe and made sure I was fully informed about the situation.

We have several rental properties and we first used C J Timms about a year ago. We found the staff and support staff to be of the highest quality and most of all reliable. C J Timms get all of our work now, highly recommended, and they aren't too bad on price either!

C J Timms fitted our remote door opener and intercom. Our wiring was quite a mess, with the old data network mixed in with our new phone system. The old intercom needed removing also. They did a fantastic job, Jake was polite and very knowledgable. Highly recommended.

We have upgraded our overhead shop lighting, we were given lots of advice on what our options were. The installation took place during working hours but the lads were considerate and kept the mess and noise to a minimum. They were able to reuse some of our old lights to upgrade our workroom lights, keeping our costs to a reasonable level, but replaced with new what was needed. A great job, many thanks.

We appointed Alan Chambers to carry out a number of electrical works. Safe to say Steve and his team did a fantastic job! They took the time to make sure we fully understood the works involved and explained the works thoroughly. The team worked really hard to ensure the jobs were carried out to a very high standard. Throughout they were friendly, helpful, thorough and above all did a brilliant job! Would highly recommend.

Wanted a new light fitting . Only a small job, thought we would have difficulty getting someone, but no we e-mailed them they replied very quickly came the next day took 20 minutes at most and charged a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend them to anybody needing an electrician.

James and team installed solar panels, an EV charger, a domestic hot water heating system, and a solar battery system for me last year. They were totally professional and extremely helpful… and really nice guys to boot! 😊 James did all the design and calculations to specify a system for me which has proved to be ideal - it operates at pretty much optimum for my particular circumstances and property. My property has 3-phase electrics and I didn't want the battery inside the house, so James spent time with me assessing both my needs and concerns and didn't just try to install a 'standard' or 'simple' system for me as some other firms wanted to do simply because it was easier for them. I thought the price James quoted was really competitive and I am very happy with the results. I'd recommend them to anyone, although I try not to in case they're too busy with other work if I need them to do some more work for me 😉 After all, if you all used them too I might have to wait a long time for them to have any availability for me! I went through HyperVolt's website to look for approved installers and was connected to James who did a remote survey and explained everything involved with fitting an EV charger on a video call. James was attentive and listened to my concerns of making sure the installation was neat as I'll be looking at it every single day. Unfortunately, one of James' staff had an emergency on the day of the installation so we had to postpone. James made me aware as soon as he could and offered to come and complete the job at the weekend. I was in no rush as my EV was still on order so I suggested we do the following week instead as I don't like working weekends either! Jason did an excellent job at making the install look neat and answered any stupid questions I had along the way. Jason showed me how to use the HyperVolt app and made sure all the settings were configured correctly. Thanks James & Jason for doing a superb job at a reasonable price.

Like others I was connected to James through Hypervolt. Can honestly say James was quick to respond, dealt with a small issue with the case really well (Hypervolt supplied a unit with a label that couldn’t be removed and a small scratch). I’d have no hesitation recommending James.

Great man! Great Job! Hard to beat! He's fantastic! I came across Patrick about a year ago. Although he was extremely busy on the day I called him, he booked me in that evening, the work ended up being more than expected but Patrick was committed to see it through. Patrick is extremely knowledgeable and gave sound advice with do's and don'ts. Health and safety practices are very important to Patrick, which made me feel confident in his work. Patrick recently did some work for me, after damage was done to some lighting in my house following a botched furniture delivery. I can honestly say Patrick goes above and beyond, has a big heart, and I am grateful to him. Patrick's work is impeccable, I would not even think about using another Electrician, as I have a very good relationship with him. He is a very busy man, but I would rather wait weeks, for quality workmanship. If any one asks me if I know a good electrician, Patrick is always the person that springs to mind. I had an urgent problem with a trip fault on the system, I rang Richard late Friday and he was there Saturday. Very professional and knowledgeable, he soon traced the fault and replaced an RCD. Very friendly and will certainly use and again and recommend without hesiation.
