We could not be any happier with the service and products (bespoke bench tops and fitting) from Carl. After being let down badly by another firm Carl came in a rectified a bad situation with professionalism, speed and high quality. We would highly recommend and will be asking him to do any future projects we may have.

We've been struggling off and on for a few years with coving that runs above some shelving either side of a chimney breast and eventually one section fell off completely. So we decided we had to resolve this once and for all, we'd seen some potential options online and started looking around for a suitable trade person to solve this problem. We eventually found Carl at Cookridge Carpentry and his response was prompt and positive. Following a couple of 'false starts' we finally hit on a solution that we could proceed with when he provided a rough dummy. Carl turned up when he said he would and grafted really hard to make sure we reached the result we were looking for. His work was very clean and tidy with little mess, which was surprising. He also spent plenty of time cleaning up after himself on both days. Both local and quality result... winner! We would have no hesitation in recommending Cookridge Carpentry for appropriate work, very professional throughout.

We had a custom shelving unit and coffee table made, as we loved the pieces we’d seen on instagram and really liked the idea of using reclaimed wood. Great communication the whole way through, and beautiful furniture! So happy with everything, would highly recommend.

Chris fitted a new wardrobe with drawers into the room, replacing an old in built wardrobe. I asked for wardrobes that were flush to the existent wall and a minimalist look and the result is exactly what I invisioned. The measurements are perfect and the wardrobes blend in with the wall from the side view. The doors and drawers are fitted with magnetic push to open locks that give a smooth finish. Chris gave excellent communication and kept to schedule, as planned. I would recommed to anyone wanting a custom design and skilled craftmen ship.

I was passed Billy’s details as a recommendation for a magnet kitchen I was having installed. Dealing with Billy has been refreshing and easy. He’s honest, provided great advice, explaining clearly the process regarding the full project, he has consulted me fully throughout and been extremely reliable. We couldn't recommend Billy more! He recently fitted our kitchen and did an incredible job. He was very attentive and thorough, he checked with us every step of the way and was happy to help out with other odd jobs that came up. He also recommended and orchestrated all other work we needed doing (electrics, plumbing and plastering) and worked to resolve any hiccup that came up, meaning we had very little to look after and worry about. On top of this, Billy has been popping in when needed to finish jobs after other work has been completed to make sure everything is to the highest standard and has been lovely to be around. Amazing work on our full wall fitted shelves from start to finish, Adam helped us with design and did all the hard work on this great build and installation. We're so happy with the results. I wanted to replace my modern UPVC door with one more in keeping with my house. Adam helped me find an original door in the right size, then cut it to fit, sorted out locks and door furniture, made a frame and installed it for me. It's perfect and I couldn't be more thrilled. Quality of workmanship is second to none and attention to detail excellent. I had two bay windows and a bedroom window bespoke made to fit a 100 year old house including original stained glass panels. We have had ChristelBall Joinery to do quite a bit of work for us at our house since we moved and we can't speak highly enough of them. The quality of their craftsmanship is excellent and the price was very good. Friendly service,clean,tidy & always turn up on time. In the kitchen we had them fit our engineered oak flooring,tri-fold oak doors,cottage style oak pantry door,new skirting and architrave,stud work with over boarding to create 2nd level ceiling for the extension and finally fitting the new kitchen including solid oak work tops. They were also able to make us matching solid oak window sills to match the worktops. We think it looks great and have had so many positive comments on it from friends and neighbours. Since then they have been back again to build our chimney breast TV unit/wall,fitted units with oak tops in the alcoves either side and an oak shelf under the TV for our soundbar. New skirting all round and a second oak cottage style door with matching oak window sill was also fitted. They've really helped us realise what we wanted to do with the downstairs of our house and we can't recommend them highly enough. It looks better than we ever could have hoped for. Later this year we will be starting upstairs and will 100% be using ChristelBall joinery for our wardrobes and any other joinery work we need.

Adam and the team did a great job converting 2 old farm workers cottages into one fantastic house. Unfortunately Covid and lock down struck during this which made it very stressful but the lads got us through it. 2 1/2 years on and Danny has been and sorted the settlement cracks and done a great re-decorate. Feathered Edge recently completed a side extension to our home. Adam promised the job would be completed in 12 weeks and it was completed two weeks early. Ben built us a large bespoke utility cupboard with an adjoining dresser unit, made to match the style and colour of our existing kitchen units. He discussed our requirements, made suggestions, produced diagrams and worked around our builders. We have been very impressed with the quality of work. The soft-close drawers and shelves take a substantial weight of china and bottles! I would definitely recommend Ben and hope to use him again for other projects in the future.
