We needed our drawers re-done in our wardrobes. It was a very bespoke project as we didn't need something built from scratch, but within an already built structure. It was wonderful working with Solid Carpentry, and the final product was beautiful! Dmitriy was attentive to all the special adjustments we wanted for our drawers and patient if we changed our minds on some details. Solid Carpentry used high-quality materials and did a great paint job. We love our drawers!!

Dmitriy and his team are first class. I would highly recommend using Solid Carpentry for any of your requirements. He helped us design the perfect living room and storage in our small porch area. I recently worked with Dimitry and Solid Carpentry to have a built -in wardrobe fitted in my bedroom so I could have more storage space. Dimitry was excellent right from the start - polite, up front about costs, arriving on time, giving me advice and keeping me updated on the job. I gave him a photo to work from and he made the wardrobe look just like it! It was also a really awkward space, the room is slightly on a slope but he made it fit just right. I'd definitely recommend Solid Carpentry to anyone, and I will definitely be using Solid Carpentry again if I need any more carpentry in the future.

Solid Carpentry designed and installed a custom, built-in bookcase with a hidden door for me. Dmitriy was responsive, open & clear about what to expect (including considerations we had not thought of), took a lot of care and demonstrated real pride in his work - which made the whole process very enjoyable. Really impressed with Frank and the high standard of service he provided. He created 3 ‘floating’ shelves for our kitchen which look fantastic. He has also replaced multiple wooden sash windows for us which were done to a very high standard. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Frank and his team replaced two traditional style windows for us and the result is perfect. The windows look and feel exactly as we hoped, and Frank really understood what we were trying to achieve. Karl was one of three cabinet makers that we approached with a general project outline for an eaves storage unit in our bedroom. We found his estimate to be in line with the others; what tipped the balance was his project back catalogue, and his immediate willingness to come and visit us at home to discuss our ideas. We are very happy indeed with that decision: throughout the process, Karl and his partner JC were willing to listen carefully to our ideas, and go though numerous iterations of the preparatory CAD drawings to create a unit that was practical and distinctive, and which served our particular needs. We were expecting a baby in the same period, and Karl and JC were very sympathetic to our time concerns, and made sure that the installation process was smooth, quick and clean, and built around our tight schedule. As an amateur cabinet maker myself, I checked the quality of the craftsmanship very closely: the joints, scribing of the outer frame to the wall, hanging of the drawers in the carcass, and attachment of the oak veneer (to limit the appearance of a join) were all done very crisply. In general, we have no qualms in recommending Karl and JC as high-end practitioners in birch ply furniture, and very personable craftsmen with whom to work.

Karl and his colleague JC made some fitted wardrobes, window seats and shelving for our bedroom and we are really pleased with them – great quality and very nicely put together. We have had a lot of admiring comments from friends. Karl and JC were very easy to work with, and took great care with fitting them (there was a difficult warped ceiling to fit them around), they obviously take real pride in their work. Would highly recommend!

The development process isn't painful, they are very easy and accommodating always helping find a solution for awkward spaces. I contacted EAST JR as they were close to my house in Victoria Park Village (Hackney) and I needed 2 sets of wardrobes. They understood exactly what we wanted and then took care of the build and install exactly when they said they would. EAST JR are very responsive, care deeply about detail, creative and good value. Lovely team, fantastic quality and have been recommending them to friends ever since.

After initially asking EJ Ryder to build us a TV cabinet, they have since been back to create a bespoke dining table, fitted loft wardrobes, built in shelving for our kitchen, clever storage based stairs for our basement, a recycled yoghurt pot vanity unit for the bathroom, new doors for our living space and a set of birch ply shelves for our new baby. I keep coming back as it's fun to co-create furniture with Edwin & the team, there are no nasty surprises and I know I will get something that I really love. I wouldn't use anybody else!

Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.

David (the carpenter) was excellent, a lovely man who is a very talented carpenter. He worked incredibly hard and fast to get our bookcase cabinet fitted in just two days. I’m so pleased to say that I had a great experience with Swift Handy Works! I had a few really tricky general repairs to do, which were all done properly and to a very high standard. Raoul was professional and polite and really cared about getting the work done right-not just quickly. We are always nervous to hire people from gumtree but was very happy with his service. We required him to disassemble furniture (before we changed our carpet) and then reassemble furniture afterwards again. He not only did this, but also fixed our bed which was broken off the headboard. Very pleased and will be contacting him again for future jobs.

Excellent job!! I contacted these guys in the morning and they was able to mount my tv the same day. Showed up on time and superb customer service. Kept my living room mess free which is a plus as i have a toddler (there was only dust from the drilling which was expected and was tidy up after) Super happy with the job and my tv looks fab on the wall. John has previously made some alcove shelves for us so I knew he’d do a great job of fitted wardrobes. They were made up and colour matched off-site so the fitting took less than a day and mess free. Really happy with these beautiful period style wardrobes which have a handy pull down rail. John also did rounded corners on request which we love.

I had been looking for a while to get some alcove cupboards and shelves made and after speaking to a few companies I decided to hire John for the work. The final product is of exceptional quality and John was able to install it all within one day. It has transformed our living room! Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes - Peter's service is very bespoke - attention to detail and problem solving - is something Peter really enjoys and was challenged by this space being uneven and shallow! I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend him. I had received quotes from the larger companies - Peter's prices are similar but the product is bespoke - I have exactly what I wanted.

ELB’s in-demand carpentry service is certainly worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with the work they have done installing new floating shelves and a built-in laundry unit. Through each stage of the process, Peter was excellent and extremely helpful, he visited our site and perfectly understood what we were aiming for, he provided a digital design sketch for the project and made multiple revisions and suggestions until we were happy with the final design. The fit and finish was perfect, he even spray painted the cabinets in the colours we had chosen and was able to fit everything in just one day. Eddie was such a pleasure to work with. Really responsive and professional. He gave a clear date of when the work would take place which meant we could plan around the work. In the design phase he listened to what we needed and weighed in with his thoughts on what would be the best solution. Based on his recommendation we went for a 4 door rather than 5 door cupboard and it has resulted in a really nice looking piece which also makes the best use of the space available. I have also never experienced so little dust and noise - mainly because Eddie does much of the prep in his workshop. I would highly recommend!
