Awesome garage great chaps! After many horrendous experiences with mechanics I'm am thrilled to say I've found a good one! Managed to get squeezed in same week for timing belts, pump, full service and a vehicle inspection. He went above and beyond, really combed over my car and gave it some love and for a fraction of the price of other local firms. Can't Reccomend enough, will use again. Thankyou!

A fast & efficient service from Mr Mechanic! I was having an issue with my car getting into gear at home, they were able to arrange for my car to get towed to the garage the same day. Well firstly I would like to say anyone near marsh, who needs a car mechanic, you’d be foolish not to use these guys, absolutely the best garage I’ve used in 22 years of driving, they had my BMW in the other week to carry out some work, which had been supposed to be done by another local garage who failed to do the job properly, not only was the job done quickly and properly I had a shock at how fairly they priced the work, you really couldn’t ask for nicer people either, you are made to feel welcome and at ease by everyone at the garage. Had an MOT booked today for my Ford Fiesta and was very pleased with the service I received. After years of struggling to find a trustworthy garage in Huddersfield, I believe I’ve finally found one. The MOT passed at a great price, and my partner’s car was also booked in without any issues. I’ve since arranged further work with Marsh Garage. Brilliant service from Mark today. First time customer, recommended by my brother in law having been let down by another mechanic. Issue with seized brake calipers which Mark quickly diagnosed and ordered the likely replacement part. Upon inspection though, the part just needed freeing up not replacing and he agreed to add the inspection charge to the next bill. Thoroughly impressed with Marsh Garage, will certainly be bringing my vehicles back for maintenance and MOT. Thanks Mark, knowing what advice to trust with car related stuff can be tricky. Amazing value for money! After the main dealer quoted £180 just to diagnose the fault, these guys managed to diagnose it and fix it for less than £100! And managed to squeeze my repair in within 2 days of my first call. Couldn't be happier, they were helpful, friendly and professional. I'll definitely use them again!!

I always use KG Autos for MOTs, servicing and maintenance. The reason being that because I don't know much about auto mechanical things, I need someone who I can trust. The bills are never too scary, which is a good sign. I've trusted Kevin with 20 year old and much newer cars.

I was recommended to KG Autos after a friend had some work done on his classic Porsche. Kevin and the team we're very accommodating and knowledgeable and you truly felt welcome. You can't say that about many mechanics. They diagnosed and tuned my LPG system on my American Motorhome and more recently an MOT. It's a round trip of 40 miles for me but the quality of work and genuine enthusiasm encourages me to return as well as recommend them.

Kevin helped me out same day when the dealer that supplied my van wanted a month to undertake a repair, since then due to the high quality of workmanship and excellent service KG Autos have now had my business for 7 years for services and MOT's not only my Campervan, but also our two cars. Thought i had a leak from a pipe, turns out it was my engine. He didnt charge me for the replacement pipe. They gave absolutely amazing service all the way through whilst having my car, explaining everything in full. Not his fault my car is badly damaged but i cannot fault the service i got. It was my choice to not spend money on my car and replace it instead. Highly recommend this garage, they are proffessional and kind. I have been to many garages and not felt i have been treated fairly, im really glad i found them, i will be using these guys from now on.

I have been taking my car here since my father in law took me with my car years ago, have always found them to be friendly, courteous, honest and decent, knowledgeable and down to earth. Never over charge for work done and never charge for or do work that doesn't need doing. If work needs doing, will always call you and advise/ask your permission prior to commencing. Hardworking, family run business with good staff and fair working practices. Always highly recommended

Had my car repaired for mot was pleasantly surprised by final bill very reasonable and a professional job. My only gripe would be I wasn't notified when it was ready which would have been nice but I will be returning when needed hopefully not to soon and perhaps a different vehicle. Thanks.

Today was the first time I have used Holmfield garage. My garage for 15 years was WJ Motors in Halifax but the owner has retired. I was attracted to use this garage by the positive reviews and the fact it was local. I had a while you wait MOT today. It was originally booked in for 2 days ago but I had to cancel due to being snowed in - this was no problem to them. Sean did the MOT. It passed. He was happy to chat afterwards about general things about my vehicle to keep an eye on. Whilst waiting in the office the general ambience I got was that of a family like feeling between the employees. Everyone was cheerful and chatty despite the freezing conditions being challenging. I will be continuing to use this garage for my other vehicles and I hope to have a similar experience when the time comes I need more than an MOT. Thank you Holmfield!

My first time using this garage and everyone was really friendly, kept in touch and didn’t mess me around or overcharge I broke down and they had to tow me but they were there within the hour. They had to keep my car for another day or so but gave me a courtesy car as I have a young child and needed it for the school run. Overall really great service, couldn’t be happier, would recommend to anyone 😊😊😊

My Audi A4 had an issue that could not be fixed after visits to Kwik Fit and another independent garage. Mark fixed the problem while he was on the phone to another customer - and used the engine management software to diagnose the issue. It took him about 1 minute. Did not charge me.

I took my 05 plate Audi A3 to IVS following a recommendation from my current garage. I had the engine warning light repeatedly coming on and the car had been repeatedly scanned for several years and the fault wasn't found or the light permanently cleared. However, IVS scanned and fixed the fault the same day and even adjusted the original quote even cheaper. As a result my engine light is now off and I'm so pleased. As a female visiting some garages it can create a lot of anxiety, however, the problems were clearly explained and I felt more reassured. I would definitely recommend this garage and use again. I booked my Audi in on 29/08/2024 for an MOT, service, diagnostic scan and a list of jobs that a previous local mechanic had not completed. Due to the specialist knowledge and experience of Mark and James, all jobs including the wiring of mirrors and replacement of rear wiper motor were carried out expertly and within a day. All the work was carried out to a very high standard for an excellent price. I cannot thank you guys enough and would definitely recommend again.

I have nothing, nothing but great things to say about IVS. These guys have taken care of four VW or SEATs in my family for well over 15 years. They are amazingly efficient and courteous and extremely competent at their job. They only use genuine parts, getting those brought in from the dealer. The prices are exceptionally reasonable, such that you wonder whether they have charged you enough! They don’t do tyres or MOTs, but MOTs are coming as they’re building a dedicated garage there. I trust them implicitly and would heartily recommend you try them!
