Went to these guys in the summer for a water coolant replacement and have been back to them a few times since. Every time they've been so friendly and helpful. Always given me the best advice and information about my vehicle and helped in any way they can. I wouldn't use any other garage now. Trustworthy, honest and good value. Great at what they do!

Gavin has what i value most in a service provider: a very friendly and approachable manner. It was a pleasure using his garage and will definitely do so again. Another bonus is very easy parking outside his place, compared to some others I've used nearby.

I've been using this garage for well over a year now based on a friend's recommendation. The service here is efficient, reasonably priced and carried out to a high standard. I am always surprised at how quickly things are resolved and Gavin had always been accommodating, friendly and helpful. Despite moving house, I am still taking my car to Mechanix Direct because they always do a brilliant job. Five stars!

Gavin has been doing my MOT for years. Always good to chat to. Explains things clearly. If he does spot something he will run you through it in detail with pricing. Recommended to friends for servicing and they said how reasonable prices were.

First time using Mechanix Direct for MOT and service and would definitely recommend. Trustworthy, efficient and helpful. Gavin provided clarity on some outstanding questions from a previous garage and didn't undertake any unnecessary work like some other garages unfortunately do! Great to have a reliable local garage. Takes the stress out of MOT time!

I didn't actually end up using Stuart as he was booked up for a while, but he gave me some fantastic advice and recommended another garage that was able to fit me in as it was a pressing matter that couldn't wait. I would not hesitate to use Stuart in the future, a breath of fresh air compared to some mechanics I've dealt with in the past.

After a family member recommended Stuart, I've never been anywhere else. Having expanded with his fellow expert mechanic Brian, they have saved me hundreds of pounds with their honesty and professionalism. When a steering problem arose, I feared the worst, but after a thorough inspection, the fault was diagnosed and it cost nothing to fix. I simply can't recommend them highly enough.

My car broke down on the way back from being repaired by another garage. This was on the night before going away. The AA had to leave my car with this garage and I’m so glad they did. Having a small child it’s worrying when you brake down and you loose confidence in your vehicle. The garage understood my concerns and checked the work by the previous garage to make sure I would be safe. They kept me in the loop and looked after my car until I returned from my holiday. They explained what they had to do and what wasn’t done by the other garage and this gave me reassurance. The customer service is outstanding as I was called to check all was ok and I was happy, completely understanding me being worried. I couldn’t recommend this garage enough and so thankful to them.

I drove in a little stressed yesterday with an engine light warning, with advice from the AA to find a local garage. Too risky to drive back to London. I found these guys. Muhammed took me on board. Did a diagnostic check on my Land Rover, and he cleared it as non urgent, and probably a false alarm. I am back in the area over the next few days, so he said, any problems, just come on back, but he hoped not to see me, (joke) otherwise his diagnosis would have been wrong. I asked how much for the inspection and the advice, and it was No Charge. Bless. A garage I chanced upon. Treated so kindly and quickly. No charge. Which only led me to believe that I had lucked upon some good and honest mechanics. We all need people like these. Thanks again Muhammad, and please excuse if I have the wrong spelling.

GREAT COMPANY !! My father was stranded in this village en route to Belgium - I called Ash ( because he had other great reviews on Google ) ,explained the problem and he came to the rescue immediately - within a few hours the car was fixed and my parents were back on the road en route for Belgium, Armistice Day parade in Ypres....Happy people and 5 stars to Ash and his company ***** - wish there were more garages like this one that showed the same level of care and commitment.....

Undoubtably the best garage I’ve ever used; trustworthy, great value and quick service. Booked in for rear brakes and CV shaft replacement. After being told I had a CV shaft fault by another garage I booked in to have the problem fixed — agreed to the quote and authorised repairs and everything. Received a call the next day to let me know that The brakes were done, there was no fault with the CV shaft, and that they didn’t have to do the CV shaft. Thankfully, because of their honesty and integrity, I’m not £130.00 out of pocket for a CV shaft I didn’t need. Cannot recommend highly enough. 10/10

I had a great experience purchasing from Aston Martin Chiltern. After initially contacting Adam and Guy who were very helpful and informative I booked an appointment to view the car. On the day of the appointment they provided a tour around the workshops to see all of the cars that Chiltern Aston restore/maintain. They happily arranged a test drive on the day without notice and no pressure to buy. Upon collecting the car it was immaculately presented and cleaned.
