I was in a spot of bother when my dear Renault Modus decided to just die on me as I was about to go shopping. I knew it needed a new battery so I ordered one and it came Thursday. I had checked on YouTube that this was an easy swap but NO. It wasn’t because it had two lots of plastic shielding that cover everything and then the battery was a pig to get out. I had major Cancer surgery last year and part of it was to remove some of my spine so I can’t lift anything heavy and decided to get someone else to fit it. So I rang a few places and most didn’t do call out assistance and one cowboy I spoke to could do it straight away but wanted £95.00!!!!!!! The bloody battery was only £40.00. Anyway, eventually I got through to Bridge Garage and asked the question could someome come out and fit a battery for me so the lady on the phone (Anita) asked somebody behind her and she said they don’t usually do call outs , but she said what exactly is it and on what car. So she came back and said I can get sombody to come out between 1pm-2m so I said yes! Brilliant, before I knew it I had one of their technicians on the phone asking where I was so I told him and within seconds he was there. Curtis was a very nice chap and was chatty and smiling like he loved his job. He must of swapped that battery within 10 mins and said give a go to see that it starts and it did !!!! First time. I asked him if I could pay over the phone and he said yes, ask for Anita and tell her Curtis says £20!!! What service! I thought that kind of service died long ago but there are obviously some places still that still exist which put me in a really good mood for the rest of the day. Thank you Curtis & Anita Mark

Brought my car here for to have my car gearbox oil changed and for timing belt replacement for a skoda ocativa 2019 automatic transmission. Considering their labor cost is a bit more expensive than the other service around this area and in Hemel Hempstead in general, they offered the best quote for this service. I dropped the car at around 0900 and they called me to collect it at around 1630. I paid around 455£ for the above service which was approximately 50£ cheaper than most of the services I called for a quote in Hemel Hempstead and surrounding area. Very professional and friendly staff. The service went well as I could easily notice a difference in driving. They also very clean and left no dirt inside or outside the car. I definitely recommend this garage and I will very likely start bringing my cars here for annual mot, service and any other car maintenance.
